It means that if we are serious about addressing the racism problem in this country, we need to start reversing the last 5 years of DEI, CRT, and BLM nonsense that was intended for Democrats to divide and conquer the country. Go back to a time where people were judged by their character, not their skin color. It is to recognize that unity is our strength, not diversity.
When exactly were people judged by the judged by their character, not their skin color?

Racism has been protected by religion since before the Civil War. Sentiments of the KKK have fresh breath now in Christian Nationalism.

I agree. Many anti-racism programs and studies do not effectively address racism but instead make some white Americans feel guilty.

What proposal and solutions are being offered by the conservative perspective to address the issue? It appears that the current conservative stance primarily focuses on criticizing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Critical Race Theory (CRT), or Black Lives Matter (BLM).

Are their any real solution proposed by conservative to address racism in our society?

Prayer and maybe put yourself in Jesus's shoes when looking at his creation and loving his creation and that includes whites. I don't think there is a secular way maybe only in crisis, we tend to forget of racism if there is an emergency keeping us distracted.

The media also divides look at all the headlines White man this, black man that. Why do we need color involved it's divisive and racist.

It seems that you only offer criticism without providing any solutions for those attempting to address the issue.

And what do you want to do instead? Move back? Move towards? Go in circles?

What should we do? We should raise awareness that racism exists and it is not acceptable behavior. This is why we have DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), CRT (Critical Race Theory), and other programs. While their effectiveness may vary, ignoring the issue is not a solution. Those who choose not to address the issue are inadvertently contributing to its perpetuation.

Reverse course reinforce patriotism and national pride. Something that every American should be unified.

Okay, got it. When is it all going to take effect, in the 30s, 40s, 50s?

Did America lack patriotism when the founding fathers wrote the Constitution while owning slaves? Was there a lack of national pride in America when Black men and women were sold in markets?

If placing the words in the end of the end zone work - let's put STOP ABORTION - we could save millions of lives!

I read in post #379 that you thought the pro-life ad during the Super Bowl was great. Now you think the End Racism ad is a bad idea?

Constantly bringing up racism isn't going to make it go away. It just perpetuates it.

Addressing a problem exacerbate the issue, while ignoring it may cause it to disappear. This is an interesting theory. only in America some people would think like that.

What on Earth are you talking about? Do you deny that racism (segregation) was advocated by white Christians?

No harping on the issue to the Nth degree exacerbates it, while not force feeding that to younger generations would allow them to get past it. Apparently the goal is for generation alpha to have the same mindset as boomers. Keep it going, keep it fresh.

How can progress be made without addressing the problem? As mentioned in my previous post, racism and discrimination exist in every society. How can we move forward without tackling these issues that have affected our entire society? While significant progress has been made since the days of Jim Crow, discrimination still occurs in various parts of our society today.
Integration has been solving the problem over the last 50 years. The problem we have now is that the pendulum has swung too far to the POC side which still promotes racism. The way we get rid of racism isn’t by giving special treatment to people of certain demographics, it’s by ignoring the demographics and basing employment opportunities based on merit and making benefits available to all regardless of demographics. For decades the government has been setting aside government contracts and tax benefits for minority companies in an effort to promote equality when in reality what they ended up doing was discriminating against those who aren’t minorities. This is why I believe that DEI is still promoting racism and until we just completely remove race from the equation we’ll never be rid of it completely.

Please. For the love of everything good and holy, get over it. Yes, slavery was a dark part of American history, but it is time to move on. To unify this country, the country has to have something we all can unify around. Up until five minutes ago, we were all unified a one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all. We need to get back to that and stop pretending that the United States isn't the greatest country in the world. A country that millions of people are currently risking their lives to immigrate here illegally. I would argue that the Hatian migrant who migrated here on a ghetto rigged raft better understands American greatness than many U.S. liberals.

There are many who claim to be Christians who don’t actually fit the description of “follower of Christ” which is what the word Christian actually means. Let’s not forget how many white Christians gave their life to combat racism and let’s also not forget who was actually capturing and enslaving people who were sold to American slave owners. So yeah there are good and bad in every demographic. If it wasn’t for white Christians there wouldn’t have been an Underground Railroad or a Civil War.

Where’d they get those slaves to sell in America? Who was actually capturing them and selling them in Africa? Because that’s where the slavery actually began. It wasn’t white Christians who were capturing and selling slaves in Africa.

And the African tribes who enslaved other tribes and sold them to Dutch slave traders. What is your point?

And the South Africans who had been selling captured slaves to the Arabs for centuries before Americans started buying them. For some reason people have this idea that whites started slavery when it had actually been going on for centuries in Africa between POC.
