It’s 2025, our government just spent 21 trillion on deep underground bases. I think they could afford to do what they did in the 60’s. They never went.
I am not American, so I know nothing about the deep underground bases. However, how does their construction provide evidence against the moon landings?

One of the excuses is that we can’t afford to go to the moon again. It’s too expensive.

Not being able to afford to go there and not being able to go there because it's impossible, the moon can't be walked on or God would prevent it, are very different things.

The moon has been landed, and walked on - been there, done that. People want the next big challenge now.

God's word says nothing about moon landings.

But it does say stuff about the moon.

It's set in the firmament, it gives it's own light & once it stopped along with the sun.

Taste tests indicate that the German Mars bar tastes more syrupy, while the American version has a stronger "bite" and a chemical aftertaste possibly due to artificial sweeteners.

Yes, I understand that about not going again. I thought you were saying that nobody went the first time(s).

But not that it can't be landed on or that God will never allow it.

The video gives the reasons why that had to stage the moon walks here on earth, I guess God put a spanner in their works.:rocket:

You trust a YouTube video over the word of a fellow Christian. What more is there to say?

God knows perfectly well that Charles Duke, and others, walked on the moon. Most of us know it too.

Having the money to spend is one thing. Being able to justify the spending as well as the risk is another, especially when there is no benefit, material or otherwise, from spending that money.

I have to disagree.

Well of course you do. You have a track record of taking the word of proven liers over the word of other Christians.

Surely they would have known there were no benefits to be gained from the moon on their first supposed mission to the moon, why go back several times more ?

The first mission that reached the moon only allowed a tiny portion of the lunar soil to be sampled. That would be like explorers landing at the edge of a desert and deciding that the rest of the continent must be desert too on the basis of that one tiny sample.

And how many supposed missions did it take to realize that they couldn't benefit from the moon ? And would someone be able to observe them thorough a strong enough telescope ?

I'm guessing about 6 times

No. There is no telescope powerful enough to discern objects on the moon's surface from earth.

No. There is no telescope powerful enough to discern objects on the moon's surface from earth.

That said, it should be stressed that there are potential resources on the moon which can be exploited, it is simply a case of those resources not being economically viable to access since the time of Apollo, and the Outer Space Treaty precluded the other main reason for permanent habitation by banning placing nuclear weapons on the moon or in orbit, which was part of the initial impetus.

Indeed we can say that the decision to not permanently colonize the moon but instead focus on Earth-orbital applications was a direct result of the signing of the Outer Space Treaty in 1967, which precluded the US or any other power from either claiming ownership of the moon or placing nuclear weapons on it (in theory, nuclear weapons on satellites are also forbidden by this treaty). By that time the US was too emotionally invested (and prior to the disastrous failures of the Luna rocket, the Soviets also wanted to make an effort at a Lunar landing; had the Luna rocket, which was in many respects very similar to SpaceX starship in that it used many smaller engines, albeit a less refined and developed design, been a success, they might well have attempted a manned mission for propaganda purposes). However, as soon as we had visited the moon, the public began to lose interest and attention was diverted to other projects using Apollo technology such as Skylab and the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, and the development of the Space Shuttle, which was an important attempt at reusability.

Looks all the same to me from their phony videos & images.

Your opinion regarding the lunar missions isn't worth a hill of beans.
