According to the theory of evolution, how scientifically inaccurate is this Christian sweatshirt?

I'm a little curious about the question of turning "back into apes." Evolution does not go forward or backward.
I have observed that those with limited knowledge of evolution tend to think that evolution is about things getting "better", by which they seem to mean - often in a vague way - "more advanced", or "more complex". In the context of those flawed perceptions turning back into apes makes sense, thereby demonstrating the validity of GIGO - garbage in, garbage out.
It simply increases traits that prove adaptive. It can happen quickly, or it can happen extremely slowly, depending on the pressure from environmental change.
For completeness I would be tempted add to this . ."and the range and character of traits available in the population". Otherwise, I agree with the others who reacted to your post - it is a clear and concise commentary on an oft-expressed wrong idea.

They actually get worse; losing a trait (or something) here and there.

That's why Aryan Supremacy wouldn't work.

COVID would wipe them off the map.

"Worse" or "better" is not part of the theory. Evolution tends to make things more fit. It could be the addition of a new allele of the EPAS1 gene in Tibetans, allowing them to thrive at very high altitudes, or it could be the breaking of the vitamin C gene in primates (who don't really need it, because of their diets). Or it could be neutral or harmful. Bottom line is natural selection is observed to increase fitness in populations.
That's why Aryan Supremacy wouldn't work.
Aryan Supremacy wouldn't work because there are no biological human races today. Creationists have often argued that there are such races, with some better than others, but they are wrong.
COVID would wipe them off the map.
Given that the death rate, even where people didn't take strict precautions was less than 1 in 330 people, that's demonstrably wrong.

I wonder where they got that idea?

As you know (but I'm writing for those who don't) fitness is taken to mean by some "strong", "tough", "arm wrestling champion of West Virginia". Whereas it actually means "having the combination of traits that are likely to prove successful in the organisms environment" and successful means "contributing progeny to the next generation".

The Old Testament.

Like here?

The concept of dividing humans into three races called Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid (originally named "Ethiopian") was introduced in the 1780s by members of the Göttingen school of history and further developed by Western scholars in the context of "racist ideologies" during the age of colonialism.

SOURCE

In your own signature, "The Bible says it, that settles it."

Funny how the Bible suddenly morphed into the Göttingen school of history and Western scholars.

Here's Henry Morris, co-founder of the Institute for Creation Resesarch, from his book The Beginning of the World:

Often the Hamites, especially the Negroes, have become actual personal servants or even slaves to the others. Possessed of a genetic character concerned mainly with mundane matters, they were eventually displaced by the intellectual and philosophical acumen of the Japhethites and the religious zeal of the Semites.”

This is not to say that all YECs today are racist; many, if not most are not. It's not the Bible that says there are human races that are inferior to others. It's YEC that does. And yes, many YECs today have rejected the racist foundations of their movement. But the fact remains.

Did you read what I posted in Post 27?

Here it is again:

The concept of dividing humans into three races called Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid (originally named "Ethiopian") was introduced in the 1780s by members of the Göttingen school of history and further developed by Western scholars in the context of "racist ideologies" during the age of colonialism.

It does not say the concept of those three races was introduced by YECs.

It says it was introduced by:
  1. members of the Göttingen school of history
  2. Western scholars

Two words:

Inbreeding depression.
It is true that COVID-19 deaths were higher in states with higher inbreeding. However, correlation is not causation. Such states have lower average incomes, poorer health, and lower average education.
This means that COVID would wipe Aryan Supremacy off the map.
That's like saying it means that COVID would wipe the tooth fairy off the map.

By the 1990s, it was clear to scientists that there are no biological human races. But YEC continued to peddle that foolishness.

Two questions:

1. If the concept was created in the 1780s, and pwned by the 1990s, are you saying it took over 200 years to demonstrate the theory of three races to be wrong?

2. IF the YECs are still peddling what science peddled for over 200 years, per your Post 28, are you saying they are peddling it in spite of the Bible, and not with respect to It?

Henry Morris, a prominent YEC, thought that the Bible taught that some races were inferior to others.

Did any of Hitler's scientists -- (or ANY scientist) -- agree with him?

You named a prominent Christian.

Now let's see you name a prominent scientist.

On what? Hitler had a weird misunderstanding of genetics that Darwinists like Reginald Punnet (of Punnet Square fame) debunked before Hitler had ever taken power.

Hitler's view was more like that of YEC racist Henry Morris or YEC William Tinkle, an enthusiastic eugenicist.

The development of the Nazis’ eugenics programmes was supported intellectually and financially by the American eugenicists, erroneously obsessed as they were with finding single Mendelian genes for complex traits, and plotting them on pedigrees. In 1935, a short propaganda film called Das Erbe (The Inheritance) was released in Germany. In it, a young scientist observes a couple of stag beetles rutting. Confused, she consults her professor, who sits her down to explain the Darwinian struggles for life – and shows her a film of a cat hunting a bird, [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] sparring. Suddenly she gets it, and exclaims, to roars of laughter: “Animals pursue their own racial policies!”

The muddled propaganda is clear: nature purges the weak, and so must we.

To be fair, YECs like Tinkle wanted only to prevent people they thought to be "defective" from reproducing, and were horrified by Hitler's "Final Solution." They disagreed on tactics, not on eugenics as such.

I didn't ask about Hitler, did I?

Your list of YECs is growing.

How about a name from the other camp?

(Do you even understand what I'm asking?)

It came down to genetics. And the Human Genome Project decisively shows that the views of YECs like Henry Morris were wrong; there are no biological human races.
2. IF the YECs are still peddling what science peddled for over 200 years, per your Post 28,
It was never a theory; in fact, it was most popular with non-scientists.
are you saying they are peddling it in spite of the Bible, and not with respect to It?
Yes. God never says that humans are biologically different races. That's YEC adding to His word. But like the acceptance of new species evolving, the understanding that humans are a single biological race is spreading among YECs.

So YES?

It took science over 200 years to correct their mistake?
