Which also begs the question, why weren't their two suns at sunset and sunrise? Shouldn't they have recorded the actual sun setting and rising at the same time the "Satan sun" was staying higher in the sky? This idea of a "Satan sun" doesn't even make sense.

I doesn't have to make sense. It just has to keep Odle's fans, most of whom wouldn't be considered scholarly folks, satisfied.

Oh dear, I just saw a clip of Pastor Dean Odle claiming that Satan disguised himself as the sun while the lads were all in Antarctica for TFE, so that the sun would "appear" to be visible for 24Hrs and deceive everyone there. How pathetic is this guy.

This should be interesting guys , this fella is taking a group to Antarctica to prove one way or the other that the earth is either round or flat , and you can go with him if you want. Have to pay your own way though.

His conversation with Carl is here and you only need to watch the first 15 or 20 mins.

I personally am not into this stuff but I will be looking forward to seeing their results in a few months time.
The flat earth conversations and debates are everywhere these days , so this final experiment should prove very interesting.

She was quoting the older translation (Coverdale, I think) used in the Anglican Book of Common Prayer marriage service. Which is entirely reasonable. By the way, English people often quote the Book of Common Prayer even when it is not directly quoting the Bible. Phrases like “All sorts and conditions of men,” “Peace in our time,” etc are straight from the pen of Archbishop Cranmer.

Furthermore all historic Protestant liturgies in use in the United States including the Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregationalist liturgies quote the BCP, although the Congregationalists were also heavily inspired by Devotional Services for Public Worship by Rev. John Hunter, the pastor of the extremely high church Congregationalist parish located on and carrying the name of The King’s Weigh House in the City of London, which sadly was merged with another parish after WWII, but happily the building became a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Rev. John Hunter was the most talented English liturgical writer since Archbishop Cranmer, and one of the best in recent centuries, a modern day St. Andrew of Crete.

More evidence that flat earthers see only what they want to see. This video makes use of the Nikon P900 camera that flat earthers love to claim is capable of zooming objects which are clearly below the horizon back into view again!

Here are a couple of screenshots from the video, the first at full zoom from an elevation of about 9 metres, the second at full zoom from an elevation of about 2 metres:

The land on which the lighthouse is situated is about 14 metres high. The distance to the lighthouse is about 20km. And - the land is obscured by the sea from the lower elevation!

Of course, flat earthers continue to just deny, deny, deny. It’s their only weapon.

I wasn't disputing the translation, just the context.
It is, as you say, about marriage, not creation or the shape of the Earth.
