In addition to numerous death threats - now they are vandalizing and destroying property.

Tesla vehicles vandalized across US since Musk began White House role

Tesla vehicles, dealerships and charging stations have been vandalized, suffered arson attacks and faced protests since the company's CEO Elon Musk began his work with the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, leading to mass layoffs of federal workers, authorities said.
Similarly, seven Tesla charging stations sustained heavy fire-related damage in Massachusetts on March 3, according to the Littleton Police Department. Officials determined the fires to be "deliberately" set, and the investigation is still ongoing to find the arsonist.
Another incendiary event occurred in Colorado, where a woman was arrested on Feb. 27 after police caught her with explosives at a Tesla dealership, according to the Loveland Police Department. Lucy Grace Nelson, 40, was arrested after police launched an investigation following a series of vandalizations at the Tesla dealership

On his first day, President Trump pardoned 1600 individuals involved in vandalizing the US Capitol. It does send a strong message to rest of the country that political violence is acceptable.

I strongly disagree with those using violence/arson to protest Tesla but have no issue with those that peacefully protest.

That does seem to be what Trump thinks. As pointed out, he has no issue with/pardoned most of those that committed violence in the Capital on 1/6 and supported various boycotts (such as against Coke and Bud Light) when they were against "the Left" but suddenly claims that a boycott of Tesla (not even addressing the violence) is "illegal."

This issue seems to be a no-brainer. Obviously, it is wrong to vandalize Teslas. It is equally obvious, however, that those who criticize such vandalism and yet support the pardoning of violent offenders from January 6th are being inconsistent with respect to whether we should condone violence.

No, that is not what I have said. Political violence is unacceptable regardless of who is committing it. We saw political violence from the left throughout 2020, yet no one was punished for those actions. We also witnessed political violence from the right on January 6th, where individuals were arrested and prosecuted under United States law but were pardoned on the first day of this administration. Last summer, we saw political violence across universities, resulting in class closures and disrupted graduation ceremonies, but no one faced consequences. Currently, we are witnessing political violence at Tesla stores.

I support protest, rally, political debate, and criticism, but violence is unacceptable regardless of the political ideology involved. Anyone who commits a crime must face the consequences.

Good job activists! The insurance paid for the vehicles increasing Musk's wealth and you released no telling how much carbon and other toxins and made yourselfs look like idiots in the process.
Great job

Anyone who voted for Donald Trump should tread carefully when impugning the intelligence of others.

Likewise, anyone who defends Mr Trump's decision to pardon law breakers on January 6th has absolutely no right to criticize people who vandalize property.

Anyone who makes incorrect assumptions about who I voted for should tread carefully when questioning someone's intelligence. It's getting awfully close to flaming and it sounds like you're justifying vandalism by saying "Well someone else did it too "
I don't remember anything being shot or set on fire on January 6th

This is what you would call a "Whatabout " if someone presented a similar argument to you

Just because they were pardoned, doesn't mean they went unpunished.

Just because the President decided they had been punished enough, doesn't mean they went unpunished. According to what I looked up, jail time for vandalism is usually 1 to 2 years. So the Jan 6th rioters had already spent sufficient time in jail for vandalism.
