I think it’s good he ripped the bandage off this gender identity nonsense, DEI, and finally deporting people that shouldn’t be there.Half a like. I like the first sentence.
Can't think of a single "good thing" he has done or will do for the U.S. but agree on the sheer and absolute insanity.
The irony is that the Left still don’t realise this is entirely of their making. When you squash any criticism or conversation around immigration, gender or things like that, branding people racist or whatever else, you silence valid concerns along with the invalid ones. People get fed up being not just ignored, but silenced through bullying tactics and ‘might is right’ approach.
Deportations obviously aren’t pleasant, but people are only focused on that, totally absolving those that settled illegally of their own wrongdoing, or the failures of successive governments to deal with the issue before now, or States making exceptions etc.
Gender is another thing being forced in our faces. You have to be supportive or you’re a bigot, homophobe, transphobe or whatever else. Absolutely fed up with it.
DEI stuff as well is pure discrimination with good PR.
So yes, I’m glad that an albeit crass voice has been given to millions not just in America but around the world as we seem to inherit a lot from the U.S. in terms of social norms.
That’s not to say Trump is a good person. I think he’s awful, but I do think in all his flailing he’ll still hit the mark on a couple things. Incidents like today though truly are tragic, and it’s unsettling to see what comes next now he’s going against longstanding allies in Europe and towing Putin’s line.
