It's not emotions or needs are bad, it's sinful emotions & ways we make needs an idol. No doubt about it man is prone to sinful emotions & placing our needs above the Lord, so we stay in the Spirit. We don't pretend to know our needs better then he knows them.

Do our words really have that power…………?

The quote I posted not from the video went on to say that that Jesus gave us that authority.
I have been thinking about ‘prophecy your future’ from the videos & the ‘Satan uses your words to curse you b/c he knows your words have that authority.’ When you first hear that, it kind of sounds like false teaching. When I first heard something similar, the culture version, words can shape your reality way back a long long time ago, I thought that makes sense if you ‘are born that way.’ But I’m not sure it is a false teaching. Someone who is not doing the Lord’s will is cursing themselves or others. It’s a cycle of despair & the Lord says we are not to be discouraged. So we use our words to climb out of it & do his will. The word is so powerful he gave the Word to us! In fact the Word spoke & all was created!

I’ve been trying to sing a little bit in the evening, not just listening. It’s so good. It creates a cycle of praise.

I stumbled across this song now. I’d heard it before but not his words in the break. It teaches song is a powerful weapon we have. It brings heaven down. In Revelation they are singing before God. The enemy cannot sing, he only has imitations. All of Psalms in songs.

This past Sunday we discussed why we have reason to sing, but we didn’t discuss the spiritual power it can have.

You're running in a circle in a pit of despair, & he jumps off the Cross, rises up out of the tomb, & comes down from heaven rushing to you. He picks you up, cleans you of the blood w/ his, & tells you 'go there, go there.'

Back to the power of our words:

Yesterday I was reading how powerful prayer actually is. It’s so powerful Satan doesn’t want you do to it. One of his biggest tactics is convincing you ‘it will take too long.’ But in Acts by the Spirit they revive the dead & heal the sick w/ just short prayers. It’s that powerful.

Sometimes it does take long – b/c you are just enjoying fellowship w/ the Lord that much. Satan doesn't like that.

Your words aren't just convincing yourself, or wishful thinking, but weapons in a battle of the spirits.

Does Satan really really really not want us to be married?
He loves it when people are distracted by internet forums for years, instead of seeking truth from Jesus Himself.

We believe in the fellowship of the saints. We are created for community, otherwise there would just be one of us. Our words speak truth & encourage each other. They have that authority b/c he gives it to us. They are in sync w/ his Word tho, they do not contradict his Word. We go to his Word & to him to confirm. Satan loves it when we are self-isolated trapped in our own thoughts & not communicating w/ each other b/c the Holy Spirit cannot work in isolation.

Some trust in chariots, some trust in horses, but we (in Jesus) remember the Name Adonai.
All Authority in heaven and earth is given in the Name of Jesus/ Yeshua.
"Jesus's sheep Hear Jesus's Voice and Follow Jesus".

“When I am married.”
“I will be married.”
“I can be married.”
“We will be married.”
“We are married.”
“We are blessed in our marriage.”
“We are glorifying God in our marriage.”

I wonder how you become Boaz. You want to become Boaz. You don't want to be a work in progress. Even tho it seems like the work in progresses are often the ones who seem to get married.

The Bible is our highest authority on who s/ pursue getting married. Paul says if you want to be married, pursue it. We don't say 'eh, it's just marriage, there's other things in life' or 'God's given me being single & that's what he's given me.'

There are wisdom decisions involved but:
It doesn't say 'only this kind of person s/ pursue it.'
It doesn't say 'only the pretty or rich s/ pursue it.'
It doesn't say 'only the nonbeliever s/ pursue it.'
It doesn’t say 'pursue it & then stop pursuing if you're struggling'
It doesn't say 'don't pursue it & become a super apostle instead'
It doesn't say 'don't pursue it & just pray to God you'll learn to like being single'
It doesn't say 'stop pursuing it if you've divorced 77 times'

This question is for you personally.

Why do you want to get married? Is it because your parents are married and you feel like it would make them happy? Is it because the church tells people it's selfish to stay single? Is it because of sex? Is it because you'd feel more comfortable or confident socially? Or is it to spend your time with another person?

I would just like one.

Just like how you like other good things & relationships you're given or have had to work for. It is good & desirable just like those. I don't understand why some big reason is needed, if that's the case, then I will never be married so someone s/ tell me right now. It is good b/c of what it is. It's good for you, it's good for the other person. Some people have tried to scare me it's a lot of work or heartache or sacrifice, I want that too, I've been thru that, it's nothing new. If I didn't want that too, I wouldn't want it. I don't want it just b/c it's 'fun' or am 'lonely', b/c I have fun & have other people to spend time w/. I want to take care of one, I want the sacrifice, I want the deep bonding, & I want the Christian growth that benefits the both that comes w/ it.

You want your complement

On your worst days you can think that. You know it would make them happy tho, tho also they understand God has a bigger plan.
Is it because the church tells people it's selfish to stay single?
On your worst days when you're feeling bad about it, that can be another nail in you. & then you start thinking it's then hypocritical when the church turns around & then tries to pretend it's actually not that good, just desire Jesus (when they all desired it themselves & then they desire it of their children & grandchildren)
Also the church is right & wrong on that, a single person can be just as selfless as a married person.

Is it because of sex?
I want that too, yes, but the bonding involved w/ it is what I want most in it.
Is it because you'd feel more comfortable or confident socially?
I wanted to get married pretty young, even before you were allowed to say it, I was always the first to say I wanted to, where other people would be like 'what are you talking about.' I don't want to be married b/c the culture says to.
Or is it to spend your time with another person?
I want to spend my time for another person. You're there for the other person

Today we discussed the power of song. We discussed how Satan was actually the song leader. That is why he hates song. All song that doesn't bring glory God is just a fake imitation
