CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's January so we are getting winter weather' I ruined my hat by washinhg it with a new sweatshirt. I tried to remove the blue fuzzies, but destroyed the yarn and silver threads. So I ordered a pink hat.
We may or may not get snow. I have to use a cane so I'd prefer to not have snow.
I took a lot trash out.

True dat! But snow is so rare, you should see how paralyzed we become over 1". For that matter, we shut everything down over ice, and slow to a crawl on the freeways in rain, ha!

34F feels like 24F.
Had about 3.5 inches of snow Thursday. A final stray band went through this morning, large pretty flakes. The sun is trying to come out, so much of the white stuff will probably be gone by evening. Upper 40s for highs over the weekend.

I'm so sorry! The coming week here will be bitter cold! High temps will be below freezing and sometimes single digits

Where I live we usually average at least one snowfall each winter. Sometimes we get more. Sometimes we skip a winter. It can range from a dusting to many inches. Back in February 2021 we had over 10 inches over a couple days.
Currently 63. Looking for 70 tomorrow.
By Monday it will be 28 with a low of 10. Brrrr!
