I do not plan to live long enough to see the "great" tribulation. Because I see the 144,000 as very instrumental in that and right now they are highly slandered.

Jesus didn't flee.The 144000 don't flee.They follow the Lamb.They are not afraid to die.

Jesus said that the hour is coming when all of the dead will be resurrected with some being resurrected to (eternal) "life" and the rest to (eternal) "damnation". Does it matter to you if your interpretation of Revelation 20 lines up with the rest of scripture or not? When Jesus returns, He will burn up the heavens, the elements and the earth. Tell me what mortals can possibly survive this to populate a supposed reign of Christ on earth after that?

In verse 13 above, what is "his promise" that is the basis for us to "look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness"? That would be His promise of coming again as Peter referenced in 2 Peter 3:4, right? Peter talked about how scoffers scoff at that promise of His second coming. But, they will be among those who have fire come down upon them when Jesus returns "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thess 1:7-8).
