This thousand years comprises the "the Great Jewish Hope" when Messiah reigns spoken about by Isaiah and all the prophets it is the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven. That's why when Jesus came preaching the "Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" the Jews rushed to hear Him and why they turned away from Him.

There is no historical record of this. It is an unfulfilled Prophecy.

The unbelieving Jews were God's enemies and the enemies of his people in 70 AD. Yes, he did destroy them.

God's people are the people who obey Jesus Christ's commandments. Abraham's children are those who are faithful/obedient to Jesus.

Galatians 3:7 Realize then that it is those who have faith who are children of Abraham.
