I believe Jerusalem will be surrounded and tread under foot for 3.5 years in the future, I believe the Jews taking the temple mount that's presently the Muslim 2nd holiest site, the Jews will lite the Muslim fire and they will surround Jerusalem, with the 3.5 year Tribulation starting at thus time

Luke 21:20-22KJV
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Those verses in Luke 21:20-22 KJV are for back in 70 AD, not end times. read verses 23-24.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Verse 25-27 picks up in the end times, near the end of the 7 years, when Israel is a nation again back in the land.

Then, in verse 28, is about our redemption draws near in the end times, and the parable of the fig tree generation is given.

"He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven,’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple, he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” Dan 9:27

The Temple Institute, an organization dedicated to preparing for the rebuilding of the Third Temple, has established a school to train Levite priests (Kohanim) in the necessary rituals and practices. This includes learning the Torah laws relevant to the Temple service, as well as practical aspects such as the use of special garments and sacred vessels1.

The institute has also created a registry of Kohanim who meet the criteria for performing the Temple service, including having a clear patriarchal heritage and observing the laws of purity. While these preparations are ongoing, the actual resumption of Temple services would require significant developments, including the rebuilding of the Temple itself.

Luke Chapter 21 is "Future" the signs seen are the indicators for the Lord second coming

Jesus didn't return in 70AD, your "Preterist" claims are "False"

Luke 21:26-28KJV
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

And?

I'm well aware of the temple institute, the red heifers from Texas, their desire to build the 3rd temple, on and on

And?

I believe the Jews will try to build the 3rd temple in taking the site occupied presently by the Muslim mosque, it will prompt a holy war with Muslims surrounding and taking Jerusalem as the scripture below describes "Future" IMHO

Do you somehow simply not see the many Bible Prophesies about the new Temple, built by Christians from far away; Zechariah 6:15, and how the Lord will take some of His faithful Christian people to be His priests? Isaiah 66:21, Revelation 20:6
The few Jews who remain, will not have any say in these matters, Ezekiel 16:63

You are another who just does not read what the Bible Prophets really do say.
The forthcoming sudden and shocking Day of the Lords fiery wrath, will virtually depopulate the holy Land. The Muslims and the Jews will be gone, Jeremiah 12:14 and many other Prophesies make that clear.

Malarkey, Christians will have no part in building a future 3rd temple, it will be the ethnic Jews

Isaiah 66:1-4 show the Lord's displeasure in this 3rd temple, it's abomination to the finished work of the shed blood on Calvary

1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

You are wrong.
Paul says the new Temple will be Gods Temple. 2 Thess 2:4

Where can we find a true 'ethnic Jew' now?
None of the citizens of the State of Israel can prove their descent from Judah. Most are Edomites, who converted to Judaism in ancient times.
Even today, many Ethiopian, Indian and Nigerian people practice Judaism and immigrate to Israel. They reject Jesus, Will they build the new Temple?

Smile at Paul; 1 Thess 4:17....we will meet Jesus in the clouds and be with Him in Jerusalem. At the Glorious Return.

But before the Day; all the faithful Christian peoples will travel to live in all of the holy Land. Isaiah 66:18b-21, Psalms 107

Yes you do make a "Preterist" claim above of Luke 21:20-22 being fulfilled in 70AD

The events of Luke 21:20-28 below are "Future" and will finish in the second coming of Jesus in the heavens, your "Preterist" claim verses 20-22 were fulfilled in 70AD is "False" there's no 2,000 + year gap seen below, the reading is continous from Jerusalem being surrounded to the second coming of Jesus in the heavens

Paul says the new Temple will be Gods Temple. 2 Thess 2:4
God won't bless a future temple of stone with animal sacrifice, you've been clearly shown, a future temple to be built in Jerusalem is "Abomination" to the shed blood upon Calvary

The temple institute for one claims to be Jews, and they use the torah and old testament as their holy book

Conclusion: There won't be a future temple in Jerusalem blessed by God, Jesus performed the ultimate sacrifice for sin, once and for all

Never heard that interpretation before.
Jeremiah 12:14 and many other Prophesies make that clear.
Wow, I have never seen someone claim the Bible says the opposite of what the Word of God says. That is quite impressive on how you can turn things around like that.

Actually they can but they are not required to. Being "Jewish" depend on the mother.

In traditional Jewish law (Halacha), Jewish identity is matrilineal, meaning it is passed down through the mother. If a person's mother is Jewish, then they are considered Jewish, regardless of the father's identity. This principle has been a longstanding aspect of Jewish tradition and law.

According to genetic studies, mitochondrial DNA analysis of Jewish women from the Middle East often reveals a significant presence of specific haplogroups, particularly within the "J" and "H" lineages, indicating a shared maternal ancestry stemming from the Near East, with some studies showing a significant portion of Middle Eastern Jewish populations can be traced back to a relatively small number of founding mothers carrying distinct mitochondrial DNA types; this is often referred to as a "founder effect.".

Key points about mitochondrial DNA in Middle Eastern Jewish women:
  • Limited diversity:
Studies have shown that a large proportion of Middle Eastern Jewish women share a small number of mitochondrial DNA lineages, suggesting a relatively small ancestral population.

  • Predominant haplogroups:
The most common mitochondrial haplogroups found in Middle Eastern Jewish populations are typically within the "J" and "H" haplogroups, which are also prevalent in other populations from the Near East.

  • Founder effect:
Similar to Ashkenazi Jews, many Middle Eastern Jewish communities exhibit a "founder effect," meaning a significant portion of their maternal ancestry can be traced back to a limited number of founding females.

  • Variations between groups:
While sharing common ancestry, different Jewish populations from the Middle East may show subtle variations in their mitochondrial DNA profiles based on their geographic origins.

No, preterists don't believe that Luke 21:25-27 are future. I have stated that Luke 21:25-28 are end times, the current generation.

To believe that Luke 21:20-22 was fulfilled back in 70AD does not make a person a preterist. It is only if a person thinks that Luke 21:20-27 have been fulfilled that makes a person a preterist.

If you look below my name avatar, by clicking on the down arrow, you will see that I am any-time rapture view, non-dispensationnalist, futurist.
