It used to be that Christianity was the norm in America. Prayers were said during congress. Prayers were said in public schools. God was talked about a lot more in government. Very Christian compared to modern times. I doubt it will ever get back to that level again.

You are correct that sometimes people can be gullible. But we had four years of Trump and four years of Harris. People have seen these two work. We know Trump pretty well. And if he can get Congress to work together we can get some things done that are goingvto be very good for the country imo. He's not a facist dictator despite what the left claims. I wasn't talking about voters. I was talking about trump's daily dose of misinformation while in office. I was saying that Trump has an uncanny talent for spreading nutty conspiracy theories and mistruths.

Let me put this mathematically.

The set of people who are fooled by a given piece of Trump's misinformation is not identical to the set of Trump supporters. It excludes part of the set of Trump supporters, and it includes part of the set of people who are not Trump supporters.

This should be obvious.

How many times must I point out that I am not making a comparison. Whatever you think someone else has done or said, whatever you think of someone else's faults, it doesn't excuse anything that Trump has said or done. And almost every single thing would have instantly disqualified him from being a candidate in any civilised democracy that you could name.

You, and so many others, have chosen to ignore all of what he is. You have ignored the cruelty and the lies. You have ignored his convictions. You have ignored the immorality. You have ignored his mysogeny. And now a man like that is going to represent your country.

One is where he has married three times, had sex with a porn star when his second was pregnant, was recorded saying that he was justified in grabbing young women by the genitals and was found to have digitally raped a woman. Saying that it couldn't have been him because she 'wasn't his type'. That's one reality.

The other is that people will ignore all that plus much, much more and consider him a suitable person to represent their country. And where people will actually argue that he is not a misogynist.

The woman he supposedly digitally raped waited 30 years to make a report, is on record saying she was a fan of the Apprentice show, and the only detail she could remember about the alleged sexual assault was that she was wearing an outfit that hadn’t been designed yet. Forgive me if I’m sceptical
