The church / Bible college (accredited) that I attended believed in GAP. But they felt no obligation to go into detail to explain it. The felt we should study the Bible, not science. Although like I said, they were accredited. The students at the state college took their elective classes at the Bible college.

Of course Moody Bible Institute is YEC and they have a lot of influence. Although the pastors I knew that went to Moody only had a two year associate degree.

It seams to me that everyone is forgetting that everything God created before the flood was destroyed in the flood except for Noah and everything on the ark the only thing missing was man in the image of God Adam.
So God began a new creation of man in his image which would be Israel this was man in his image in the flesh which must come first not a great success so God began a new creation with Jesus Christ this would be man in his image in the spirit which will be Jesus Christ at his second comming when he presents the multitude of believers to the Father this is man ( mankind ) in the image of God
Man in the image of God is not one man but a whole multitude of believers.

What Noah saved was all the animals in Eden. They had to have food to eat after the flood.

the Bible describes Noah as a righteous man:

• Genesis 6:9
  Describes Noah as a righteous and blameless man who walked with God. The Hebrew word for "blameless" is also used for animals that are without blemish and fit for sacrifice.

Very true but I believe God would provide if he could provide food for the Israelites in the wilderness he could provide for the animals on the ark remember the dove came back with a newly plucked leaf in her beak so there would be vegetation how he would provide for the carnivores I don't know but I believe God would provide.

None of us are sinless but we can recieve forgiveness through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and I believe this could apply to Noah the question is was Noah's drunkeness part of Gods plan to see what Noah's sons would do we don't know and no point in speculating.

God can and does provide above and beyond all we could ever think or ask. Eden was very special. This was the beginning of civilization in the Middle East. This was the beginning of recorded history.

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

The tree of life is Jesus Christ the tree of knowledge of good and evil is Israel because they had the law.

Eden is it the land given to Israel

Eden is the modern, civilized world with domesticated animals and cultivated plants. Science has put a lot of effort into understanding how this world spread from the middle East to Europe.

My wife is Asian, so I am well aware of the difference between the food they eat and the food we eat. Jesus tells us that God provides for our needs, what we will eat. Science tells us how God does that.
