Sorry I may have missed it but I didn’t see any comments on light being created ex nihilo.I would say this isn't actually true. And we can go one by one through each question. I just gave my response to where earth is created ex materia in Genesis. The answer is, Day 3. That's what God does on day 3.
Genesis 1:9-13 NET
[9] God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear.” It was so. [10] God called the dry ground “land” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” God saw that it was good. [11] God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: plants yielding seeds according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” It was so. [12] The land produced vegetation – plants yielding seeds according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. God saw that it was good. [13] There was evening, and there was morning, a third day.
And if you don’t mind tell me again why the beginning of Creation did not start with God creating the heaven and the earth as stated in Genesis 1:1?
