CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
There still is a great deal of enthusiasm for Harris - rally in Greensboro, NC

The only thing desperate IMHO is the people who are blindly following a person who was not voted into her position, and went from the worst VP in history to the best candidate in two days.

imho, he is intimidated by her and the size of her rallies. He puts great importance on crowd sizes.

Details: An August 2024 Facebook post was circulated on the social media websites Truth Social by Trump and X by Kevin Sorbo. The post depicts a supposed Craigslist ad asking for paid actors to carry signs with "Anti-Trump" messages.
The post is a doctored image of another fabricated 2019 post of a Craigslist ad showing to ask for paid actors carrying "Pro Trump" signs at a rally in Phoenix.
Trump is reducted to fabricated lies. The crowds of people attending Harris rallies are there because they want to be. When I get back to Arizona in a few weeks, I am hoping to attend a rally. I am just not sure I can wait in a line like this:

So it was simply providing transportation from a distant parking area to the main event? That is nothing. I used to go to sport events and holiday events in Phoenix and parked in one place, and got on a shuttle bus to the main arena.
In fact, once in San Antonio, they opened a new Costco. We went (my daughter really wanted to) and had to park in a area away from the store and take a shuttle bus that Costco provided to the store.
Figures that Trump was just blowing smoke.

It’s funny how much Trump has morphed his fans into his own image. Now they’re the ones steeped in conspiracy theories and obsessing over crowd sizes. It’s really sad and deeply concerning what’s happened to the American right wing. I don’t know how or if they ever come back to reality.
