How to read the Bible comes later but for a novice who first reads the Bible he/she would begin with Genesis. I know I did when I first read the Bible.
As I said, it depends on how they are taught.
When I was a teenager I wanted to read the Bible all the way through, so, naturally, started at the beginning. But I had been to Sunday school and Bible studies; I knew the Gospel, the nativity and Easter stories and something about Paul. I had a working knowledge of the NT and had decided to try to read the OT.
But even after reading Genesis, I did not come away thinking, "the earth is flat, all my school science lessons are wrong." Neither did I stop reading the Bible because I was "confused".

Your wrong about this, when a person first starts to read the Bible, where do they begin ?
In the New Testament, namely gospels, in most new Christian cases.

This is you, but what about the non believers who thinks the Jesus & the Bible is just a fairy tale, how would you convince them it's not.

True  But how many non Christians get put off reading the Bible because they think the Bible is a fairy tale
They may do, or they may think it is irrelevant.
They may not want to read it because it would show them that they are sinners, that there is a God who sees what they do, and so on.
How are you going to prove to these people that it is not ?
By showing them that the Bible talks about real, historical people who really existed. They can look them up; study the writings of the Jewish historian, Josephus, or the NT historian, Luke.
By showing them that places mentioned in the Bible - Israel, Egypt, Rome, Spain, Jerusalem, Athens etc. etc. still exist today.
By talking about archaeological discoveries, historical remains, coins from the period and so on. This is all real evidence.

Non-Christians are more likely to believe that the Bible is a fairy tale if you tell them that it teaches that the earth is flat (which it doesn't.) Because the real, tangible evidence says the opposite.
You have no answer for that evidence except to dismiss it as lies. What would you say to someone who dismissed the Gospel as a lie because there was no evidence that Jerusalem existed?

See above - by giving them facts.

most people have been indoctrinated about a spinning earth & space.
This isn't the case at all. Most flat earthers at some point seem to make this claim. It's a claim which doesn't stand up to scrutiny. The globe earth orbiting the sun model came about through observations, not a conspiracy to hide the truth. The same observations are done repeatedly today.

Again, amateur astronomers are passionate about study of the skies. They have no affiliation with NASA or any other claimed "liars". They observe and make sense of what they see. If the rotating globe earth was wrong, they would know very quickly and, have no doubt, they would say it.

I'm starting to believe you guys & that the earth is a sphere
Please verify it for yourself. It’s not really a case of who to believe, but what is the reality. I really do pray for wisdom in your search for truth.

I will pray to God for his guidance in this matter as I know he will always guide me in the way of the truth.

Your explanation for the sun stopping is the best so far. Thanks  But this doesn't alter the fact that the earth is level & stationary & does not orbit the sun.
I can certainly understand your strong feelings on the side of the earth being flat and fixed in place, but would you agree that that is a view, and not a fact, since a fact is not established as such, simply on the basis of belief.
How are facts established? Is it not by verification?

There are quite a lot of Christians who are in various fields of science all around the world.
They do have access to the data all scientist have, and they make certain of things to be sure the data being presented is not fraudulent.
Don't you think many scientist would be holding up a red flag, if the evidence for a round earth was lacking?

I know it can be hard trusting people in this world today, but do you know of any honest scientist, you could ask regarding the data?
The time may come when there may be more data to confirm to anyone who is skeptical, what shape the earth really is.
In the meantime, perhaps learning more about what the purpose of earth is, may be something we can consider.

No I can't think of one in today's world who doesn't either belong to the W.H.O. or NASA.

Do any of your family, friends or neighbours like science or astronomy?

What are you trying to say now ?
It might indeed be helpful if someone you knew and trusted has an interest or hobby in science/astronomy where you could talk with them & discuss why they believe the earth to be a globe. It may not be the case that you know such a person.

But in searching for the truth it's important to listen to the opposing arguments in order to be able to come to a conclusion on what is the reality. Rather than seeing the scientists/astronomers as liars or affiliated to an enemy organization, objectively test what they say against observable facts, particularly when it comes to astronomy and nobody can stop you observing & testing what is said.

Nothing; I simply asked if any of your family or friends liked science or astronomy.
A person can be an astronomer without working for NASA.

Yes, my hubby he was a very keen armature astronomer, he even spoke to Patrick Moore once who used to live right behind him.
