Seriously....I could have sworn they already went after Trump regarding his use of campaign funds.....but I'm supposed to believe they didn't bother with this totally valid story of his illegal acquisition of campaign funds....

They've thrown every lawsuit they could at this guy. It started off with "he's working with Russia" and ended up at "he overestimated the price of a condo on this loan lol".

Meanwhile the NYT is literally say Hunter Biden lobbied the State Department and for foreign actors in Ukraine and Romania....right after Joe leaves the race.

Does anyone care? Of course, Trump's campaign has received monies from foreign countries and from billionaires. And folks are certainly free to believe that there is no quid pro quo.

I don't know. Aren't such investigations supposed to be confidential so we wouldn't really know if they'd been restarted or not? Aren't presidents supposed to not direct investigations but leave it to the agencies?

What is the statute of limitations on bribery of the president? Does it apply to the briber or the bribee? If a president accepts a bribe during the course of his presidential duties - and why else would one bribe a president - would not immunity kick in for said president?
