Yeah, I noticed that too. Fox News is known for spreading propaganda. In this case, fox news used a snippet which cut out the context. In the full hearing the gentleman had earlier apologized for using the phrase "neoclanist party" to describe Democrats. The missing context is where Harris commented by saying it was assumed the gentleman was referring to the KKK. That part was cut out.

I don't know enough of the ICE Agency or thei tactics.
We have seen many cases of police officers using excessive force against blacks. One could call Geirge Floyd's murder a lynching without a rope. Thankfully, rogue officers are now prosecuted and convicted.

But have ICE agents committed crimes against migrants? I don't know. Her analogy might have some truth. It might not.

Certainly Abbott's booby trapping the Rio Grande could be considered a terrorist tactic.

I don't think that's really a lynching. Lynching is mob behavior.

I thought Chauvin was prosecuted correctly. I think it was wrong to go after his trainees. Those guys were new to the job...and being trained on how to do the job correctly. It seems unreasonable to expect them to understand what is normal procedure and what isn't.

I'd say not. ICE agents don't choose the nationality, race, or ethnicity of the people they arrest. They arrest those here illegally. Suggesting they're in some way similar to a racist terrorist group is rather dumb.

Certainly Abbott's booby trapping the Rio Grande could be considered a terrorist tactic.

ICE didn't do that....the Border Patrol did....and moreover, that's the reality of a dynamic border structure. Some people wanted a wall....but in places a wall isn't feasible, other structures are.

Those buoys were visible from the Mexican side of the river. It's a deterrent...extremely different from terrorism.

Typical Fox sourcing: A clip is shown from some hearing in the past. No reference as to when this hearing occurred nor any way of looking it up. What Harris was speaking to was "the perception of the border patrol".....

I won't comment futher until the op provides the information that Fox News did not.
