  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Arizona is were the illegal drugs come into the country. Drugs you can buy for $20 in Phoenix you may have to pay $100 in Alaska. It is a very rough city and I am sure Trump wants to clean it up.
Ahh, the famous streets of Mesa overrun with siccarios exacting punishment and retribution.

I have a nephew paralyzed from a bullet and a son dead from what they say was a drug overdose but could have been a hit job from when he was in prison there. So I have nothing good to say about Mesa or Phoenix. So when I personally have suffered two loses from what you call "siccarios" you may want to tread lightly. Everyone knows the hood everywhere is a dangerous place because when drug deals go bad, people get killed. My wife even knows a women at work that was killed in a drive by shooting. They want their drugs so bad that they are more then willing to lie, cheat and steal to get them. Phoenix and Mesa is just a little more dangerous because that is where a lot of the drugs come into the country from Mexico.

For those who do NOT know if they want drugs they have to steal whatever the drug dealer wants to pay for the drugs. So the dealer gets stuff in life for 50 cents on the dollar. My son told me many times that girls that want two or three hundred dollars really only want $20 worth of drugs. He told me for $20 you can have most any women you want. Because their pimp gets the rest. I do not know if that is true or not. Maybe someone can verify if he was telling me the truth or not. He use to run the ad to pimp his mom out. She was arrested for prostitution and assault on a police officer. That was 100% not the girl I married.

Just look at the situation with Joe Arpaio if you want to know about the political situation there. The aclu went after him for his crimes against humanity.

Arpiao should have committed fewer crimes against humanity and violated the civil rights of so many.

A mayor? There's umpteen mayors in the US. Sorry, but this hardly seems newsworthy.
Mayor of "The city was named the most conservative city with a population of over 250,000 by Pew Research in 2017."

Sorry, but this is big news in Arizona. He brings the receipts for the switch - Biden/Harris have done good things for the state.

"This year too much is at stake to vote Republican at the top of the ticket."

What is of significance is that Arizona is a swing state. However, this is a mayor in a swing state rather than the governor of a swing state.

No. I didn’t say that.
Okay, so we have the Vice-President becoming the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party, and then a Democratic Governor from a “battleground” state, quickly endorsing said nominee, (party unity)…what makes this “interesting”?

[I mean, there are plenty of “interesting“ things that are also completely normal, (a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis, e.g.), but what makes this interesting?]

That’s fair. You’re definitely right. To be charitable, I’m going to keep my opinion of Harris to myself.

I guess the peyote is still available in Arizona.
Kari Lake pretty much demonstrates that.

As fyi, Kerry Lake won yesterday's primary, but there was significant support for her primary opponent, Mark Lamb:

With little money, little television visibility, and no prominent endorsements or surrogates to make his case, Lamb seemingly benefited from a deep reservoir of Republicans hesitant to support Lake.

Lake raised five times more money than Lamb and has 16 times more followers on the social media site X. She has the backing of former President Donald Trump, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and 23 of the 49 Republicans currently in the Senate.

The lingering impression of her Trumplike attempt to overturn a fair election remains with a lot of Arizona republicans. The memory...

Kari Lake fails, again, to convince a court that she’s the rightful Az governor

She is a rhino in my opinion
RINO?

"Republican I'd Never OK"

Democrats, being less authoritarian, would probably laugh at the notion that there must be a rigid ideological test for party membership.
