Anti-Trumpism has always been largely fuled by fear mongering. And the pandemic of course excellerarated that greatly. It was the perfect storm.
You can dismiss the impact of Trump's failure during Covid all you want, you don't need my permission. However, you do need to understand that millions were impacted negatively. My father died from Covid. My best friend (best-man at my wedding) lost his wife, his brother, his father, and an uncle to Covid. I recall rationing toilet-paper during Covid.. dismiss it all you want. For some of us it was real.

I hope there are deep concerns about GOP policies overall. Trump implemented ~65% of the Hertage Foundation's guidelines last time. They've outlined their goals this time.
The heritage foundation has always been laughed at by the left. But then they had the bright idea to turn that around into fear mongering.
Trump has been succesful speaking to working/middle class families who feel they have been abandoned. He tells them what they want t hear, that they've been abandoned and put upon. But in actual policy he continues to ignore the need(s) (as with his great "healthcare plan") or continues the neo-liberalism, trickle-down, supply-side, horse and sparrow policies (like the Heritage Foundation promotes) that's been gutting the middleclass all-along. In short, he's a snake-oil salesman.
Trump has already been the president. They already know what they got out of a Trump presidency, which is why they're pro-trump.

It's strange how I hear a president can't do anything about gas prices or inflation in general, that none of it is his fault in any way whatsoever. But somehow a president has total control over and is completely responsible for a pandemic virus that started in China.
For some of us it was real.
I'm not saying it wasn't real. I'm saying blaming Trump for it makes no realistic sense.

Presidents and their Adminstrations are responsible for how they respond to those items out of their control.

Could you be a little less vague? I've yet to see you actually point out how/why Trump's healthcare plan was a problem, and in what actual way he's to blame for Americans contracting a virus.

By 2016 the company I work for went union and I was finally able to get actually affordable healthcare. So I didn't pay much attention to the details of the Trump plan, much less fall for it.
How fortunate to have a union job. Harris/Walz support unions.
And 10 million more Americans have health care with the ACA. You do realize that it would have been more comprehensive if Obama didn't have to water it down over and over to get the two or three conservative votes it needed to pass.

Trump never had a healthcare "plan."
Or a COVID management plan. Until there was a vaccine, social distancing and masks were necessary. When the vaccine was available, it should have been mandatory in some job categories, for schoolchildren, etc.
Trump just said children shouldn't need any vaccines to go to school--and that's why we now have outbreaks of whooping cough and measles again.

The only reason whatsoever I needed a union is because it came close to giving me the healthcare insurance plan I had before obamacare. Put another way, I shouldn't need a union at all.

I know it's all the republicans fault. Anything that goes wrong in a democrat presidency is all their fault.

So McCain gave his famous thumbs down to stop something that didn't exist?

What did Trump actually do or fail to do?

Yeah.

That was the vote to repeal the AHA without a solid plan for replacement.

Which is why he voted no. So, you've brought up the key point that makes your position wrong I guess.

Unions brought us 40 hour workweeks, overtime pay, employee benefits, pensions, etc.
In my right to work (for peanuts) state, my Republican governor just ended child labor laws. For shame!
Your union works against disgraceful atrocities like this.

A few thousand fraudulent votes in close, crucial swing states can do wonders. Stick to the game plan libs. ^_^
I get what you are saying , and yet for us to claim election fraud, we are considered conspiracy theorists. And on the other hand, When Hillary lost, back in 16, Democrats claimed election fraud for 4 yrs . Hypocracy to the full extent .Abrams loses in Georgia ,claiming election fraud is ok for her because, she is a democrat. Pure hypocracy . I believe polls are [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] .Just ask Kerry and Clinton . Both were up in the polls up until election night .Both got crushed in the electorial college.God knows who their polling anyway. Pollsters have a way of spreading manipulation .For all we know , they are polling in blue states or red states but blue cities in those states .So if they polled ,for example in Austin Texas, Harris would be up ,or in Atlanta Georgia. Those states as a whole Trump would of course be up. So I dont hold much stock in polls.

It was mandatory for me to keep my job. I was head of security at a hospital. Then they said it wasn't mandatory after everyone had taken it. When I went to work at another hospital 21 months ago, they wanted proof that I had taken two shots.

All I know is I managed to get along the same as now for 36 years not belonging to a union.

The context, whether he’s right or wrong, is that she’s not a legitimate candidate, and such cannot be declared a winner.
And the narrative to have a backup plan to install Trump regardless of the result of the election begins.

The republicans warned the dems that choosing Biden was a big mistake, but as usual they didn't listen.

And she received 0 votes from the American people.
The American people voted for a Biden/Harris ticket. Meaning, should he not be president, she would be. Every single person who voted for him voted for her too. Given his age, we all considered she may be President should something happen to him, so we are seeing the contingency plan work as it was always meant to.

Wow. So Josiah Lippincott is announcing in advance that if Harris wins the election, he will declare that the the election was fraudulent and will call on his supporters to reject the elected government in Washington. He would rather pull down democracy itself than see his candidate lose the election. This is bad stuff.
It has been bad stuff for quite some time...
