Statements of the obvious don't address the proposition that Kamala Harris cannot win the election. It is this confected dispute that is irrelevant. She is likely to be the Democratic candidate and just now quite a lot suggests she might well become President.

Early days, but worrying for the Trump camp.
From what I've heard Trump and the Trump camp has been in a daily state of fear for the last 8 years.

After or before is irrelevant. It’s not an elected position. It’s appointed by the nominee or president.
Bur both run, and both receive votes in the primaries.

The role of the running mate is to replace the President if something happens.

Something happened.

-- A2SG, granted, this case is unprecedented, but the possibility was prepared for ahead of time....

The Republicans had a plan, and a backup plan.
The plan was to run against a doddering old man, and the Republicans would win.
The backup plan was that Biden would drop out late in the campaign and the Democratic party would be thrown into chaos trying to select a new candidate, pick somebody awful too late and the Republicans would win.
Instead, the Democrats slotted a presentable candidate into place instantly and started campaigning successfully right away. It's not fair, and the Republicans would love to find something illegal about it, even if they have to make it up.

I’m positive she received zero votes from the populace.
She will receive votes from the duly elected delegates of the convention. Don't you think convention delegates are allowed to do that? Do you think they are not part of the "populace?"

I seriously doubt anyone here was alive in 1861.
No, but it came up when one of our conservative colleagues claimed that Lincoln gained his nomination through the primary elections of 1860. Evidently he wasn't alive then, either.

She won over the delegates that were pledged for Pres. Biden's renomination along with VP Harris' renomination. Everyone who cast a ballot in a presidential preference primary knew she was the joined with him. (As for the funds, she was part of that campaign from the beginning as a candidate for VP.)

Winning delegates isn't the same as winning the peoples' votes.

There weren't any primaries in 2019.

She ran in 2019 for the 2020 primary.

The election is in November. And to be fair, she did get more votes than Trump in the last presidential election.....
Only if her name was "Joe Biden" in the last presidential election.

The funny thing is that you all know what I’m talking about. Lol.
Sure, but we're also aware that it is silly and of no legal or logistical value. We get it - it's done and you don't like it.

And now it’s silly. What’s next?
My guess it that either you all will drop this silly and useless tact or you all will continue to waste everyone's time with this.

Or were you asking what the next line of attack will be?

Exactly. That's why we have a general election but haven't always had primaries. Not all states have them even now.

I just wanted to know what crazy response you’ll come up with next. But again, I think (hope at least) that you knew that.

You repeat the same meritless debunked statements over and over just to provoke a reaction? So how is that different from "trolling"?
But again, I think (hope at least) that you knew that.
No, your motivations are obscure to me. I have no way of knowing what you sincerely yet mistakenly believe and what you post that you know isn't true (which seems to be what you're admitting to doing here). Sometimes I almost think that you want to provoke people into saying something that you can report them for, but surely no one here is that petty and malicious...

How does this even compare? Nobody votes for vice president.
I always vote for VP. Every time. (Or at least the electors for VP as is the bizzaro world way our elections work.)
