How do you cram in a minimum 45 years for the 15 degrees and at least that again for the medical degrees?
You really have a reading and comprehension problem. I said degrees and certificates. I should also add proclamations. He is a member of the American, State and County Medical Society. So there is three right there. He has a proclamation from the governor and the mayor and the president of the university. There is another three. There are three group photos from different schools. then there is a middle school degree, high school degree, college degree, medical school degree, physiology, medical license, hospital privileges for five hospital, then the hospital staff certificates. Then if you read the obituary there were many, many organizations that he was president, chairman or presided over. Then of course you have certifices from the military. Of course you have intern and resident. Sometimes certificates are called Official recognition.
I remember when I was sitting in his office waiting for him when he was with a patient I would read all the certificates he had on the wall. There were a lot of them. The walls were covered with them and I am sure there were a lot more that did not get framed and hanged. So when you start adding all of this stuff up it can be quite a bit. For example when you retire after serving your city for 50 years you get a certificate from the mayor. There are times when you get a proclamation from the president of the united states. My grandmother got one when she was 100. My brothers would send a letter to a mayor or governor and they would send back a proclamation. Also my dad was well known for sending letters and he had the autograph's of many famous people Like Dr Spock and Dr Fraud who wrote books. My brother got a lot of that stuff because he is a doctor so my dad thought he could relate to it. There was on government document that had many signature's that must have been worth 50 ot 60 thousand dollars. Plus he had two sets of all the president signature's and documents. That was his hobby and his investment. Good no one ever stole any of it. Actually I am glad he gave that stuff to my brother so I do not have to take care of it. Even your family can give you certificates of recognition for being a good grandfather or something like that. I had a program on my computer at one time I could make up certificates. So when you get up to fifty or sixty you could maybe claim they do not mean much or they are not worth the paper they are printed on. I know a guy who calls himself a bishop. Turns out he admitted he paid $35 for a certificate that calls him a bishop. We put on a marriage seminar with a guy who also called himself a bishop. But not of any official certified organization.
So that is the difference between what is certified and what is not certified. Even though the non certified organizations still call it a certificate. The Bible school I went to was a certified college. You could transfer your credits to the public university and they would become a part of your permanent record. The students use to go to the Bible college for their electives. My son was taking classes at four different colleges when he was in High School. The state gave him up to $30,000 for tuition.
So there are five medical hospitals where he had certificates for permission to practice and being on the staff. Or all the different committees he presided over as chairman or whatever. It just all adds up and there are a lot of them. That does not even get into the degrees from seminars for things like hypnotism from various foundations. Even the state requires a doctor to keep current and continue to take classes. He use to get presentations on real to real tape before they came out with cassettes. He never got into computers and DVDs but now you can take a classes on the internet. Even classes from major universities record their lectures, harvard, yale and so on.
People can complain to the various medical boards but they do not always respond. For example the board will not investigate complaints about billing disputes, insurance disputes, personality clashes, or poor bedside manner. Still the doctor will receive a letter to put on file that there was a complaint.
