If you are dead and your body has decayed for 3 days then it is scientifically impossible to raise from the dead.

I was thinking of starting up a thread on talking snakes and talking donkeys. We all talk to animals. The question is at what point to do we try to claim we do not talk to them. I remember my sister and I once discovered that our dog did not understand words but was very tuned into tone. They love a positive tone but run and hide from a negative tone, no matter what your actual words are. With cats they want to be mothered. If you nurse a cat back to health they become very loyal and devoted to you for life. You become it's mother.

That is not always so easy to prove. We see lots of miracles but everything looks normal so it is difficult to prove that there was a miracle needed. In the case of AIDS people will say the test just gave false results and they never had aids in the first place. They try to do double blind studies but they really do not know how or what to test for the results are not always consistent or conclusive.

I read the Bible as it is written and as God has presented it to me. You underestimate God’s role and involvement in the Bible. It’s foolish to treat it like other books. Jesus quoted and referred to the OT many times. I don’t see an example of him approaching it the foolish way you are.

Except that the Bible doesnt have a flat earth worldview (start a new thread on that topic)...and the Bible specficially teaches us that Man and Woman were created (in the image of God) at the beginning - they didn't evolve from anything. The purpose of the Bible is not scientific but rather the purpose of the Bible is to record historical events to server a purpose towards Salvation.
