  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dems want a ‘democracy’ where the majority lords it over everyone else.

Tell me, who makes even the slightest effort to convince the people of Wyoming or Hawaii to vote for president?
Wyoming was the first state who gave women the right to vote. Single women are where democrats get their power.

Democracy and secularism are plagues for society. I never voted and never will. I’m a woman: our father’s / husband’s vote represents us.
Empowered women is what makes America great. Apparently you have sidelined yourself. That is your choice.

The former, and it’s clear.
It is not clear as you didn’t say what you meant by “salty “. What does “salty “ mean in this context?

Wyoming gave women the vote because there was a severe deficit of women in the state and they were desperate to draw women into the state.

Good, women shouldn’t vote anyway. Keep serving your husband. :)

The point is women shouldn’t vote.
Are they too delicate, or something? Will they get the vapors if they have to make a choice between the Barnburners and the Hunkers?

I never said the latter.
The only way to reduce the influence of "mega cities", that you have referenced in multiple posts, on presidential elections is to make their votes worth less. Your beloved EC system makes votes of different weight based on location.

Now, any other restrictions on voting you would like to see?
