Ahh, take me back to the 2000s or even 2010s, where none of this stuff was in our churches. (well, sadly, creepy priests and heterosexual perverts still existed back then). But, nowadays we have both creepy priests and drag stuff in churches. So, it seems twice as bad now compared to a decade ago.
Agreed. It is odd. 2016 to 2019 is just three years of time span. Assuming a midpoint of 50% support was reached in 2017 or 2018, then, in a matter of a year, the world went on board with this trans ideology.
It is. The rise in transgenderism, individuality and identity culture, death culture (euthanasia, abortion), global warming (with record temperatures approaching +1.5C, heat waves) and false prophets are all signs of Jesus returning back soon.
Amen to this. In the mean time, I will do whatever it is to help reduce the impact of climate change by being eco-friendly, and reduce the impact of transgenderism by not supporting Target, Disney or other companies that promote this stuff.
The ideology of transgenderism is evil - but we saw this coming - and it will only get worse before the Lord comes again and cleans house.Viterbo University is a Catholic School in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and my alma mater. In the children's section of their library, they have a pride display of children's books.
One book is called "It Feels Good to Be Yourself: A Book About Gender Identity." It's designed to teach children as young 4 about concepts of transgenderism, non-binary, cisgender, etc.
Another book is called Desert Queen. It encourages boys as young as 7 to cross dressing as drag queens.
I've often seen children on campus because they have a Boys & Girls club on campus.
It's depressing to see innocent children targeted with this. I've contacted the Archbishop (I cant find the Bishop's contact) and didn't hear back. I contacted the school and just got a generic response.

The idea that any sort of "transition" can take place.
That's true. Gender non-conforming people of all kinds are "out" now. But marriage is found in all human societies. Permanent pair bonding has always been part of human nature and will persist because it is part of the way we reproduce. At different times and places there have been a variety of social and/or religious rules surrounding the pairing. These can change, but the existence of marriage as a permanent part of human nature will not.
So many children are confused about their gender and people think minors should make life altering decisions.
I thought that was off the table for these discussions. I thought that most people here either opposed, or were not willing to actively defend our present treatment of trans kids. I am certainly not.
