It seems nobody had control of this maga movement either lol.

I mean this is funny and ironic. It was only a couple days after Mr Trump was convicted in NYC. This reminds me of that driven fly that couldn't get enough of Mike Pence during his debate. I think this crash is an ominous sign of things to come for Donald Trump. And an appropriate metaphor for the entire Trump charade. It's OK to laugh if you get the urge. That "Trump: law and order" sign on the bus definitely cracked me up lol.

Yeah, the whole Trump-Messiah cult is one big bus crash. What is so puzzling to me is that the religious right will look the other way when it comes to tax evasion, felony bribery convictions, payments to porn stars for sex, and clearing up your debt once every few years by bankrupting one of your companies. But you better not be transgender or seek reproductive rights for women because it's murder but then say the death penalty is not murder. Once you think a right-to-life movement would include murdering murderers (some of the time), if a few innocents get murdered in the process Se la vie)

Two of my least favorite movements in the 2020s:

The MAGA movement
The gender bender movement

Maybe the bus crash (hopefully no one got hurt), was an act from God or something, showing how we should not attach our Christianity to any worldly movement, whether that be one on the far-left or one on the far-right.

EDIT: Our Christian way of life will survive under any government structure.

Yeah, nobody was hurt or I wouldn't have posted it. I agree, we shouldn't attach Christianity to political movements especially. The irony of this story just had me chuckling today. The fire department came but left after finding nobody injured. Bus still wedged between the signs lol.

Glad that no one was injured, scrolled to the bottom of the article to find that. :) I am starting to not want to vote in any election. 2024 might be the last presidential election I'll vote in, cos I can not in good faith vote for a guy who mocks our faith on the left, or an egomaniac man straight out of Psalm 10:2-7 on the right.

I completely understand. While I have always felt obligated to vote since becoming an adult, I am finding justification to sit out occasionally. I sat out the Virginia governor election when Youngkin got elected. I wanted to dial down my own polarization after the Trump debacle. I'm not even a democrat but I couldn't vote for Glenn at the time. And I'm not voting for Mcauliffe. He never earned it either. But I can't describe how liberating the feeling was to remember this stuff doesn't matter one bit in the end. I don't have to be tribal and stress myself unless I choose to. I'm still not sure if I'll vote this November. I think there might be some changes afoot before we get to the election. I am holding out hope anyhow.

I am holding out hope also, as I do not want to be tribal either about any politician in 2024. The only tribe I belong to is the tribe of Christ. I'll stick with local elections though, maybe state elections for a few more years, unless those become divided severely as well.

And yes, politics does not matter in the end, cos we are all citizens of Heaven as Christians.

It may be a "sign o the times." ^_^

I really don't see any other way to interpret it. Maga really wedged itself between the Scylla and Charibdis. I see...a bad mood arisin'. I see...trouble on the way hahaha.

Haha, so true. America itself has wedged itself between two evils.

I see it as a metaphor for the maga folks being torn between two lovers. Reality and Donald Trump. I can't agree that President Biden is necessarily evil either. He's simply served his purpose in government long enough.

Believe it or not the doddering president has America recovering well from covid and the Trump presidency. And he has helped stabilize the nervousness and uncertainty across the world by bringing NATO allies together in unison against Mr Putin's bully tactics. I daresay the world dodged a bullet when the Donald lost his reelection bid. America will begin to grow and progress again as soon as that one party decides to govern rather than gaslight and perform for social media attention.

I agree 100% with this. Biden is not perfect, and is not good for the country, but is better than Trump when handling the world affairs.

We live in an age where people exchange truth for lies, because the love of many grows cold.

You should check whether Jesus has a commercial license before allowing him to take the wheel of a big bus like that.
Haha. Good one, my brother. :) I am a Christian, but loved this joke.

Proverbs 17:22 encourages Christians to laugh, but sadly a lot of my fellow Christians are uptight about joking:

Proverbs 17:22 (ESV): A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

I think this crash is an ominous sign of things to come for Donald Trump.

Let's see what the bible says about signs and omens.

Leviticus 19:26 Do not practice divination or seek omens.

Matthew 12:39 An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.

Didn't you tell me you believed the bible?

Mostly likely this was just a vehicle that was not parked properly.

Non-citizens getting licenses and being employed by the Trump campaign? Uh oh.
