The worst of all was Biden calling some poor girl a "lying dog-faced pony soldier".

The remark "lying dog-faced pony soldier" is from an old western movie, similar in meaning to "white man speak with forked tongue". Biden is implying in his own playful way that he was not convinced about the girls claim. This girl later admitted Biden was correct and in fact she had never been to a caucus.

It doesn't matter that he specified "radical left-wing Democrats", because the point of the matter is that since Trump had no proof the election was stolen, he was spreading slander.
He and others believe there is proof.

I posted that as a matter of humor. It was too silly of a statement to be taken seriously. And from what I just read about it, no one can substantiate that it was ever a line in a movie.

That would not excuse slander. But that's beside the point since Trump is outright lying (see Bannon tape). Please note "Believe" is not the same as "Know", just as "Opinion" is not the same as "Fact". So also note, that Trump's words are slanderous because he does NOT indicate any intention that he is expressing his personal opinion/belief that the election was stolen, on the contrary Trump expresses that HE KNOWS FOR A FACT the election was stolen.

Trump: But we look at the facts and our election was so corrupt that in the history of this country we've never seen anything like it. You can go all the way back.

Trump: You know, America is blessed with elections. All over the world they talk about our elections. You know what the world says about us now? They said, we don't have free and fair elections.

Trump: I know your pain, I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side.

Trump: Because if Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election.

This thread for the the last few pages in a nutshell: If you don't hate Trump the way we hate Trump, you're not being a good Christian... or worse.

Or to play on Biden's "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black"; If you don't hate Trump, you ain't Christian.
If it helps I think many here aren't good Christians because of their brazen hypocrisy, indifference to anything Jesus or the bible teaches and gross distortion of the bible in general. That all started long before Trump.

There is a difference. Obama and Biden have not been accused of felonies.

I am sorry that already the trial is being dismissed as unfair. I have seen no evidence of anything wrong in the legal process. I thought the judge treated Trump's contempts of court with great patience and forbearance.

I have seen Trump making the allegation, along with many contemptuous utterances about the judge, officials and witnesses. (No change there. That is what he has done in every confrontation.)
Just an FYI: Trump's MO is to lose in the lower courts and win in the higher courts. There has been a lot of obvious bias in the lower courts. They are simply of lower character. Here is some good analysis to open a few people's eyes (no need for me to re-invent the wheel):

There is much more. But this is enough to get us started. It covers a lot of nuances few have thought about.

I do not feel Trump could have gotten a fair trial because he is so poarizing that finding 12 people that can truely have no bias I just feel could not happen.
Agreed. However, we're "discussing/arguing" things that folks much more qualified than us have chimed in on, in detail. See my post above this one. It includes the thoughts of Dershowitz.

given there is already about to be a third defemation case against him...probably not.
He's getting record donations. I suspect plenty of people see this as guaranteeing his election. I remember several months ago some pundit said, "Trump is just one indictment away of guaranteeing his election." Too many see this trial (and others) as pure banana republic stuff. Remember "russia, russia, russia"? Nothing. It was all baloney. And as I've said over and over, his MO is to lose in lower courts and win in higher courts. There is obviously a lot of bias in the lower courts. The requirements for filling judgeships in higher courts is a bit more demanding.

I think Trump's moral failings are his self-adoration and that without any proof he accuses and slanders others, particularly all those who openly disagree with him.
Yes, that’s what gets me. This same man is only a friend to those who agree with him…..and aren’t disabled, unattractive, overweight, older than him etc. He would insult and mock any number of people who stick up for him and support him if he met them IRL And wouldn’t think a thing about it.

Except for all the indictments and confessions.

He's doing great so far!

Apparently the bribes are much bigger.
Regarding the first one: Srsly?
Regarding number 2, yes he is. That's my point. Not batting a thousand, but doing very, VERY well.
Regarding number 3, that's what we call in sales, "A big fat claim". It's a very effective sales tool if you can back it up with evidence. The 9th circuit court is the most overturned, and I don't think it's because of bribes in the higher court.

I was surprised to see Mark Garagos, in agreement with Dershowitz. He had ties with the Clinton's through McDougal, as well as Clinton's half brother.

Not to me you didn't.

Sure thing.

That's not a yes or no question because I don't know what you are calling moral turpitude. And you're not likely to ever get an answer from anyone asking loaded partisan questions like that. And as usual you're completely leaving out anything performance wise that makes one question his ability to make America great again. Just a whole lot of 'orange man bad'.
This is not a trick question and I think it deserves a straighter answer than you have given.

I think I hear the sound of shuffling feet here.

Make it great like when? When good ol' Ron Regan begin running up trillion in debt? The days of Jim Crow? Or the days of slavery when whites were king by natural law and the law of the land? What time do you want to go back to? Perhaps when 90% of the native population of this land was exterminated? Take your pick on the time in the past when America was great.

0 for 34.

Plenty of "gifts" being directed to the SCOTUS Justices off the books, just check the headlines.

I was just repeating what was in the post I was replying to, so ask them.

Do you think that a criminal of such moral turpitude is a suitable candidate to 'make America great again'?

This is an old and childish game that you're playing because you can't come up with anything beyond vague complaints like "moral failings". It seems obvious you don't know what you're talking about over there in Worcestershire, UK.
