I agree. Please say what you mean in a different way, which doesn't sound like bad Jim Morrison poetry.Guess I did say it before.
Maybe a different way to say it is in order.

Huh? You’re just making stuff up.The people of the state of New York
I have. While I was in the Philippines during the reign of Ferdinand Marcos, there was a brave newspaper editor who published opinions against him. One of Marcos' known political lieutenants had the editors three daughters kidnapped, murdered, dismembered, and their bodies stacked on the editor's front porch one morning. He let it be known he did it as a warning to Marcos' political enemies.Have you ever spent any time at all in a 3rd world country?
- Recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Just OK huh? I put it 2nd on his list of accomplishments because whenever anyone talks about religious credentials of a politician, no one can hold a candle to the man of action. Wasn't Jesus Jewish? I thought I read that somewhere.
Oh he won. It's just that we the people preferred his opponent.Typical Democrat. Attempt to re-define victory.
LOL! So what? A Man of Action who thinks he doesn't need to ask God for forgiveness because he has never done anything wrong.Just OK huh? I put it 2nd on his list of accomplishments because whenever anyone talks about religious credentials of a politician, no one can hold a candle to the man of action. Wasn't Jesus Jewish? Considering what happened to those hotels, I'm not sure that's relevant. In other words even when it comes to free housing they do things that would get them evicted. Why are you talking about them as if they are a huge monolith? Yes there are DEFINITELY people with "vices" or "lifestyle choices" that keep them on the street.
But the massive recent influx of homelessness isn't due to that. It's due to skyrocketting greedflation, specifically in the housing market.
Finland is a tiny country. And yes....I DO think that if you give people a stable home, many of them will straighten out....
Read up on Finland's findings....here's a short vid:
I believe what they need is the right kind of help. They also have to want that kind of help. Just giving them a salary isn't going to achieve that.I haven't yet figured out Christians, who should be extending mercy and grace to others, ask questions like this. As if those poor people "aren't even worth trying to help"....because that seems to be the implication.
You're using examples of what's not going on here to refute what's happening.Uh. I used that as an example to show that the US is not like a third world nation. It's perfectly applicable.
I always laugh when I see comments from people who compare the US to a banana republic or a third-world country. They don't have a clue about the level of corruption that takes place in the developing world or how political opponents are dealt with. Not to mention the levels of poverty and the income disparities between the elite ruling classes and average citizens. There's just no comparison between the United States and any of the countries that would be considered third-world or banana republics. It's not even close.Have you ever spent any time at all in a 3rd world country?
I cannot agree. Not even close.Trump is the greatest President since the Founding Fathers.
Considering what happened to those hotels, I'm not sure that's relevant. In other words even when it comes to free housing they do things that would get them evicted.
So? How is housing in an URBAN setting relevant to the physical size of an entire country? The results show the opposite of what you claim so if you want to debate this point, it would help to start to see what happenned and meaningfully critique the results or details.Finland is a tiny country.
I would bet that for 60% of people it would do EXACTLY that.I believe what they need is the right kind of help. They also have to want that kind of help. Just giving them a salary isn't going to achieve that.
I'm using the examples to refute the LABEL of what's happenning. You're using examples of what's not going on here to refute what's happening.
This whole time I thought "CA-Greens" meant Green Party of California. It's the first thing that comes up after googling ca-greens. And of course "Up your nose....wid a rubbah hose." as a location suggests New York.I'm not a democrat, I'm worse. I'm Canadian.
Lol. Yes, I'm sorry. This whole time I thought "CA-Greens" meant Green Party of California. It's the first thing that comes up after googling ca-greens. And of course "Up your nose....wid a rubbah hose." as a location suggests New York.
I know you cannot agree. It’s OK. I love you anyway. And when the Trump train pulls into the station, you’ll be made great too.I cannot agree. Not even close.
I don't have time for a 26 minute video. And by the time I do, it'll probably have gotten buried in this thread and I'll have forgotten about it.So? How is housing in an URBAN setting relevant to the physical size of an entire country? The results show the opposite of what you claim so if you want to debate this point, it would help to start to see what happenned and meaningfully critique the results or details.
Could you explain what "it" is in a nutshell?I would bet that for 60% of people it would do EXACTLY that.
Why not address what is happening and explain why those particular things don't resemble any third-world country anywhere at all. Rather than picking a particular thing in a particular third-world country to say that doesn't happen here?I'm using the examples to refute the LABEL of what's happenning.
Important difference.
It's kinda deceptive. Is there some reason why when debating US news and politics, you don't want people to know you're Canadian?Lol. Yes, I'm sorry.
I got that from Welcome Back Kotter....good ol' Vinni Barbarino....
edit: I guess I didn't need to apologize.....
sigh
Well, sort of and no. There is no "moneys" but there are "monies". It's a financial term generally referring to discrete piles of dough rather than to the aggregate.I'm sorry, I'm going to go off topic a little bit but this is a pet peeve of mine.
no.
No.
NO!
There is no such word in the English language as "moneys". It's just "money". It's an abstract concept and not a calculable one. We cannot go: one money, two moneys, three moneys, etc.
There is no amount of money that causes it go from money to moneys. $5 is money, $10 is still money, not 2 moneys.
It's always just money...
This is not going to be overturned by NYS, but who knows what USSC might do.Now that I got that out of my system, back to the regularly scheduled programming.
