I have been trying to focus on worship more often than not. I find it helps me stay calm. Just pray for me as I had a rough seizurish thing last night. It woke me up twice.

And I was also angry when I started reading The Bible and read how it said Sarah, Abraham’s wife was beautiful physically. Then it continued with how Rebekah and Rachel were physically beautiful as well. I wanted to give up reading The Bible!! I thought maybe God was also shallow too and it hurt me and made me very sad/angry.

I really don't think Scripture meant beautiful in this shallow or conventional way (to where everyone outside a specified range of physical traits is seen as an ugly and unlovable thing of horror), though, Miss Lion.

They were beautiful to the other people who admired and/or loved them, is all. Perhaps, for instance, Isaac wanted to love Rebekah when he met her. Perhaps he was eager to give his heart to someone, no matter who it would be whom Abraham's servant found for him, so when Isaac saw her, she was going to be beautiful to him no matter what. Perhaps the writer of Genesis was simply saying that these women were beautiful from the perspective of the ones who already loved them.

It's kind of weird that three Mario games have been remade in the past year and they all have the exact same name as the original. I mean, how are you supposed to tell them apart if the names are the same?

Seems funny seeing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door getting a remake. I remember being obsessed with that game years ago and writing stories based on it. Why no remake of the original Paper Mario game, though?

A bit enamored with what the technology of AI anime art has done to bring the "Sarah" in my name to a new life.

As I said once when the good Sunshine For Jesus asked (where has she been lately, anyway?), the Sarah in my name actually doesn't refer to a specific person IRL, but more of an ideal, and I just thought it sounded cool when I first chose it to name myself on the Internet about 18 years ago. ^-^ However, if there was a character who represents the Sarah part of "Sarah's Knight", it would have to be the good priestess Sarah Winters, in our game Arc Arath.

I just spoke with a friend I worked with at Dr. Pepper in Houston several years ago, Miss Marina.

She gave me great words of wisdom:

"30 is the new 20.
40 is the new 30. Lol."

I guess she was trying to lift the both of us up, her being in her early thirties and my turning 40 next month. ^-^
But I'm not worried so much about losing my youth in number of years, so much as my youth when it comes to the spirit, and I do not intend to do that, certainly.

Marina certainly has not. She mentioned she will be out partying with friends tonight like it was ten years ago for her. ^-^ I hope she and those with her will stay safe tonight. She is a believer in Christ as well.

When I turned 40 in February, I didn't let it get to me. One thing God used as encouragement, was learning about the late Stan Lee, and how he didn't start writing Marvel comics until his mid 40's. His writing and the characters he helped create has inspired many generations of people. As I see it, our best days are always ahead of us, especially if we continue to seek God's kingdom and His righteousness. Then God will add all things to our lives, based on our desires according to His will.

Matthew 6:33 NIV: " But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

I have been overweight since 3rd grade.

Awhile back, I asked God why it had to be this way. His answer - because more men would have taken advantage of you if you weren't fat.

I reflected on the guys I've been with. While I'm guilty of being with men for the wrong reason and using them, they were doing the same thing with me. And the last guy I got involved with (the one I had worked with), he definitely took advantage of me. He lied to me so much and it took me awhile to sort out what was going on. And also that one guy I got involved with in my late teens, the one that I thought was my best friend. I finally realized in my 30s that he used me. I was humiliated.
