A Christian family who was singing Christian spiritual songs in their house was approached and shouted at by a pair of Muslim women and men. This incident occurred at PCI Cerme Indah Housing, Gresik Regency, East Java, Indonesia.

In Indonesia, there are many cases of discrimination against minorities, including Christians, Buddhists and Catholics, regarding worship and daily activities which are not always featured in the news. Generally, the news media will only report it if it has gone viral on social media.

Goes to show that Muslims are not worshiping the same God as us. Muslims worship God the Father, but sadly ignore the key to Salvation, which is God's Son, Jesus. So my prayers for the pair of Muslims that they may seek Christ, and no longer persecute Christians.

I hate to be villain here but:

Matthew 6:1
Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Matthew 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

I'm not blaming the Christians here but they probably just didn't know about Matthew 6 and probably singing loudly for their singing to be heard outside their house. You always got options like singing less loudly or sound-proofing your room or house.

Read your Bibles more carefully, follow the teachings of Jesus in the Bible (Don't blindly believe other Christians, including your pastors) and you'll be persecuted a lot less.

For Christians who got attacked while praying, they're probably praying in public. Jesus taught us NOT do such thing.

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full

What happens if a Christian is wearing a cross? I became a Mormon. Now I'm an ex-Mormon. We were discouraged from wearing crosses. I wore one in my senior photo anyway but I didn't live in Utah so no one said anything.

I wouldn't have become Mormon if they had not kept their worst teachings secret: we were expected to earn godhood. They are anti-Trinitarian. All gods are supposedly exalted men. Their god the father impregnated Mary with his exalted body.

I agree with what you said, but there’s even more to it than that. And it applies to us in this country and around the world.

And ofc, being helpful beyond the call of duty if they ever needed help and they did the same to me if I ever needed help.

Ironically, I probably learned a huge deal more by having Muslim friends than them learning about my Christianity.

In all things with any persons, as the Lord leads. We are not to toss our nets out at random where we may catch nothing, or even get torn nets. We are to toss our nets where we are led to do so by Him.

And ofc, being helpful beyond the call of duty if they ever needed help and they did the same to me if I ever needed help.

That's right. Simply making friends doesn't mean you have shared what is holy because unbelievers can also make friends. That's what I believe.

You're only sharing what is holy when you share the Gospel to another.
