I’m not a geography maven but I’m pretty sure that even back in David and Solomon’s day there was a strip of land called Philistia where the Philistines dwelt.
God commanded Israel to take the land He was giving them. That meant to defeat any people who resided in that land. They began doing just that. However, after they rejected God as their king they made men their kings. Big mistake! Afterward they had many corrupt kings who led the people astray until God decided to bring other nations, the Assyrian for one, against them and carry them away captive.

I don’t think Israel will gain all their promised land in the near future, but I do know that’s what they want. I believe they will be given their promised land, but not until Christ comes to inherit it himself, along with those to whom it was promised.

what is the topic of the thread?
The topic is your assertion that calling for a new election amounts to “election interference” or “overthrowing” their government. The topic is also your being incensed that somebody in the US government dare state an opinion about how another country conducts itself- something that virtually every country does at one time or another.

When you start off with a premise as ridiculous, as unevenly applied, and as blatantly partisan as yours, where do you expect the thread to go? Did you really think it wouldn’t go off track or devolve into sniping almost immediately?

Only with people not able to address the topic with opinions and facts instead of derailing it into something that has zero to do with the topic.

Permit me to ask:

How is a foreign politician, who has sway over funds, use that sway to strong arm a nation into holding an unscheduled election to remove it's legally elected leader not an issue in your opinion.

Is that not the very definition of quid pro quo?

Yes, I think Schumer was wrong to go about it that way. Netanyahu knows our position on this and has rejected it. We should have just stopped the money.

Did he say that he would hold up funding if they didn’t have new elections?

No.

er go, he isn’t trying to strong arm anybody. He’s just airing an opinion.
Is that not the very definition of quid pro quo?
No, it isn’t. And no matter how much you may want to equate this to Trump’s actions with Ukraine, it isn’t the same.

If you do cannot tell the difference between meeting with a person and trying to over throw them - I do not think I can be of illumination to you
We agree elections aren’t an overthrow, correct?

Show me the ways Chuck Schumer (a Jewish member of Congress btw) has acted to overthrow the government of Israel.

Israel is interested in the land God has promised them. They are NOT interested in blind Biden’s “Two state” idea with the Palestinians. God is going to give Israel the land He PROMiSIED them, no matter what the blind nations think.
Why would God even put them in this predicament in the first place?

Apparently, someone in congress used his freedom of speech, and you're upset about it.

Chuck Schumer is a Democrat first. The Democrats need to win over the many people, especially in Michigan, who are pro-Palistinian.

I'm pretty sure he's Jewish first but I'll leave it to you to go and dismiss a man's faith.

That's nice.

What has he done to overthrow the government of Israel? That's my question you quoted. Do you agree an election is not the same thing as an overthrow, which implies removal by force?

The Jewish people do not think Schumer is a Jew first because he wants the Jewish people to negotiate with the terrorist Hamas. He’s a hypocrite.

If the Jews don’t fight against the terrorist then the terrorist will get what they want, which is a total annihilation of the Jews. It was Hamas who first attacked Israel.

Good thing you're here to give their pov. Where is he calling for an overthrow of their government?

Israel is free to prosecute their war the way they see fit but if US weapons are going to be used in support then I think we also have a say if those weapons are being used to indiscriminately kill civilians.

I fail to see how your second sentence is supported by your first sentence.

If Schumer’s country was being attacked by terrorist he’d want to fight back, not negotiate.
