It's supposed to be about the Religious Left as contrasted with the Religious Right. The Religious Left doesn't really care very much about transvestites but the Religious Right seems concerned.

I take that to be the position of the Religious Right. A person from the Religious Left is more likely to humor both of them. Because the Religious Left does not see gender nonconformity as a threat. Maybe, in some forms, sinful. Maybe sometimes delusional, but not a threat.

And I don't think "we would like to be not abused by other people, and accepted as human" is an ideology, although it might be an agenda in places where people do abuse them.

It might ease your anxieties to read up on the differences. Or, possibly aggravate them. Whatever.

All drag queens who are male and dress up as females are transvestites. Not all transvestites are drag queens.
