I'm not sure how a bunch of attempts to distract from answering my question will clarify anything. All that is does is make it look like the post I was responding to was making up stuff I never said - after all, if that was referencing something real, it would be much easier just to quote that rather than the diversion we see here.Perhaps this will clear things up. Should people be treated according to their identity?
In other words should men be allowed to use women's locker rooms because they identify as a woman?
Should people be required to us the pronouns people identify as?
Should men be allowed to compete against women in women's sports?
Answer those questions and that should clarify everything.
I mean, I get it, the whole "why wouldn't a hospital hire anyone who self-identified as a surgeon regardless of their actual experience" was a pretty dumb talking point. But making up stuff other people never said to try and run away from it isn't a particularly good look either. It'll make people start to wonder what other points are based on similar amounts of empty bluster.
