Yes, there is an increasing demand from menopausal women as studies are showing immense benefits from HRT for aging women. Trans related HRT will account for a very small percentage of that gain.
So, nothing at all to do with big pharma. Well, that's a relief. I don't have to give a peep.
Holy conspiracy-theory Batman!
Those crafty capitalists making tons of money off of the less than two million transgender people.
Sure.

Pay attention to what these three posters are defending @rambot ...

Because there's no refuting that...
1. Big pharma is profiting from a larger consumer base for testosterone and puberty blockers.
2. Cross sex HRT and puberty blockers for children or teenagers are not FDA approved treatments for being trans-anything because there are no longer term double blind studies showing the safety of these treatments.

Yet here in your OP, you put "corporate greed/exploitation" as something the political left is against.

I stopped myself from posting this opinion in another thread because I'm curious about what Americans in America think is pulling America apart.

I am 1000% convinced that the left and the right do NOT agree on what that is. As I'm outside of it, I have my own opinions on both groups. But from SPECIFICALLY where you sit, what do you think is causing the slow melting of America's standing.

My thoughts?

Right
Mass migration
DQSH/LGBTQ issues
CRT
Economic crisis (which isn't actually an ECONOMIC crisis...it's a distribution of wealth crisis as the rich get richer and the middle and poor get left behind....still)

Left
Greed/Corporate exploitation
Racism
The removal of rights for certain classes of people
Republican degradation of national institutions.

But really, what do you guys think.

https://aztownhall.org/resources/Documents/Bridging Divides to Build Community/Stuck in the Middle - The Extremes Pulling America Apart Summary.pdf
That's a link to a boring pdf that indicates that it is the extremism that's tearing America apart. Seems boring and, frankly, the "Extreme left" in America? I'm curious who that would include....

I understand that the left used to be against corporate greed and exploitation....but are they really? It seems to me they are 100% in favor of corporate greed and exploitation as long as those corporations claim to support left wing causes superficially. They don't actually support left wing causes....they slap a trans person on cans of Bud Light hoping it will make them a few extra bucks. When corporate profits were dropping post pandemic.....what were the first employees to go? The "diversity, equity, and inclusion" officers and managers because in reality...they add nothing to the profits of the corporation.

As long as corporations say the correct things to the left...what they do is overlooked by the left. The left today doesn't actually care about corporate greed or exploitation. The posters here prove it.

it's that way with the leadership of both parties with their differences being just window dressing to appeased their respective constituents.

All part of the same MasonicJewJesuitpharma plot, clearly.

I understand that you're being sarcastic in this post....but why include the reference to "jews" here?

I went back 3 pages and I didn't see any posters referring to a "Jewish conspiracy" before you did here. Don't you think that the rising tide of antisemitism on the left is troubling enough that you don't need to try and invent some antisemitism that doesn't exist in this thread?

Again, I understand you're being sarcastic but it seems to be in really bad taste given people are actually calling for the state of Israel, genocide of the jews, and repeating antisemitic talking points in pro-palestinian rallies across the nation (and much of the globe).

Can't you edit out the unnecessary reference to jews in your post?

Agreed. There are few exceptions.

For all valid criticism of Donald Trump one can make...people can't argue that he didn't genuinely attempt to deliver on his primary platform of "building the wall" and solving the illegal immigration crisis. One can say he failed to deliver (its a big project and he only had 4 years) but the political left did everything possible to torpedo every solution he tried. They denied him funding for Infrastructure (which they quietly resumed building under Biden). They pushed for court orders to prevent him from deporting illegals who crossed with children. They even tried to end his "remain in Mexico" program which was a success compared to everything tried under the Biden administration.

Generally speaking though...yes, I agree that both sides pursue the interests of their corporate donors over their constituents regularly.

I don't like it when either side does it....but I find it abhorrent when it involves the unnecessary experimentation of life altering drugs on children too young to comprehend the choice being forced upon them let alone consent to it. The fact that the left wants to promote this stuff to children, at school, behind their parents' backs is so disgusting the only comparison I can think of in the modern era are the eugenics programs that sterilized people against their will or without their knowledge.

Trump is an enigma. I don't know if he was once a Freemason and went rogue so they are doing anything/everything to stop him for betraying their agenda or is he just a red herring being used to draw out those opposed to the deep state so they can be identified, isolated and dealt with or something in between. He genuinely seems to have bucked the Freemason deep state. They may assassinate him.

Well as the nation was founded by Freemasons, I guess they think they have a right to 'stay the course'.

Yep. People don't realize the constitution was written to protect them from us. Now that they've infiltrated every corner of power in the country, they have no more use for the individual protections granted thereof and work to nullify, invalidate and overturn the bedrock of our freedom. I believe soon they will just step right out in the open and seize power.

Wouldn’t letting people live the lives that they wish to live be part of that?

Like, say, if a person one always knew as “Robert” took to wearing bikinis and asked people to begin to call them “Michele”…that ought to be respected, right?

Rank paternalism cannot allow deviation from the norm. Freedom is for those who conform.

I haven't worked out the chorus, yet, but that's the first verse of the "new" GOP.

True. It's so obvious, I don't understand why they don't see it. But, see, the internet has learned me. The general populace is not wise.

The real trick to successful politicking is to make it so routine and boring that the unwise hoi polloi will wander off and let adults make the decisions; as this tends to lower voting rates, it is disfavored by one side and the other side is too busy squabbling amongst themselves to notice .

Exactly. Keep them divided with bread and circuses, and idiots will rule the world. I swear, we have earned it.

He didn't try very hard to get Mexico to pay for it.
Also the wall doesn't stop illegal immigration crisis. How does it stop asylum seekers missing their court dates and VISA over stayers?

Not alone, no.

We had 9 million people enter illegally under this administration.

How many visa overstays did we have in the past 3 years?

The asylum question is simpler. If you aren't from a nation that is politically persecuting you....asylum rejected.

This is one of those views that I always thought amusing. If your car breaks down...most people realize they need a mechanic and can't fix it themselves. A/C not working? Gotta call a repairman. Got some weird tumor sticking out the side of your neck? Gotta see a specialist....

Running a nation of 330 million? Easy peasy...I could do it better than the idiots doing it now.

We had 9 million people enter illegally under this administration.
The problem is people's understanding of the term "enter"
A significant percentage of illegal immigrants entered the country legally and became illegal somewhat afterwards.

Those that have entered illegally (not through a port of entry, but perhaps crossed the border somewhere else) how did this administration facilitate that????

How many visa overstays did we have in the past 3 years?
Now that international travel has picked up, since Covid is no longer impacting travel, this has picked up significantly.
I have found a report about overstayers from air and sea travel and that was 850K in 2022. But that report doesn't include overstayers from land travel a.k.a. Northern and Southern border crossings. But already, as you can see, it is a pretty significant number.

The asylum question is simpler. If you aren't from a nation that is politically persecuting you....asylum rejected.
Border control do reject many people's request for asylum. In many instances though, the border control aren't qualified and don't have authority to properly assess, these cases go to the courts. But none of this has anything to do with a border wall.
Asylum seekers enter legally via official ports of entry.

Christians need to run for political office from the level of dog catcher all the way to president all over the nation like right now.....like yesterday more like it. We are facing the greatest crises we have ever faced. We are collapsing from the inside out and the national policies concerning our children are depraved. We are facing God's judgement and doing little to nothing about it. Nothing short of revival along with a great awakening will it take to avert this testing of our Lord's wrath for our inaction. Show me how to run for governor of Texas and I'll bring the Freemasons into accountability or get assassinated trying.
