Is it wrong for a Christian to have a few close friends who aren’t Christians ?

Not if they don't change or alter/influence who you are or what you would normally do/choose in a negative way.

God Bless.

Get as many non Christian friends as you can and share the gospel with them. That is, of course, assuming that they don't influence you more than you influence them. How else are they going to hear the gospel unless someone shares it with them?

I am Christian, and am in my 20s. Most of my few friends are not practicing Christians. They are nice people, but do wish for more Christian friends or that they would switch to Christianity. They have autism, like I do, and can be close minded and not very open to things that myself am open for. So, it isn't wrong to have non-Christian friends. But, try and slowly introduce Christianity to them.

Being the introduction or influence or example is best.

That way you lead, and are in a position to influence them, and you can introduce it to them slowly, or over time if you like, etc.

God Bless.

James chapter 6 . Christian people are to try to witness to the heathen.
Don't be par takers of thier sins.

Dont allow outsiders to influence you.

Some Christian people have to work for living. And be around outsiders. Dont pick up their ways.

Corinthians chapter 6
Temple of God and temple of belial have no concord.

The body of christ are our brethren. I would not form personal relationships with the heathen. Keep boundaries with the heathen. Get the picture.

And I have autism myself.

Lot of people are walking in darkness. They choose to leave God out thier life. You don't want to be in thier activities or lifestyle. Get the picture. Dont pick up their heathen ways or sins.

To quote someone, use the "+ quote" button located underneath the person you want to quote's post. Also, I don't pick up my friend's sinful ways. It is perfectly okay to have non-Christian friends. Jesus made friends with sinners. Also, Belial's name should be capitalized, as names are a proper noun, and "par taker" should be partaker. We are not playing a round of golf here. :) Whew.
