"The World Health Organization (WHO) on Saturday strongly condemned Israel’s repeated order for 22 hospitals in northern Gaza to be evacuated, describing it as a “death sentence” for the sick and injured.

What if Hamas gets holed-up in these hospitals during the ground invasion... And the doctors and patients all become Hamas hostages?

Is that better? Or is it better to get as many out of the hospitals, so that doesn't happen?

I'd say, at least Israel tried. But if gunfights happen in hospital hallways, and nurses and patients die, the blood will be on Hamas' hands now. And the WHO will be openly criticized for their role in not advising as many as possible to evacuate... As everyone was warned.

We already know terrorists are staged at the cemetery, close to one hospital.

What if scenarios do not justify the war crimes so far. Remind us of the last time Hamas took a hospital hostage and how that turned out? A quick search resulted in a hospital incident in 1995 in Russia.

The rebels did not take a hospital in their own city, they went to Russia to do so. In what they call a botched rescue 129 were killed. That is far less than the hospital strike deaths in Gaza. If your what if scenario ever happened, and Gazans took their own hospital hostage, one would hope a not so botched rescue attempt would be made

There's going to be a ground invasion at some point. Everyone was warned... It is what it is, and whatever happens, happens.

Is this something else you've just made up? Of course there might be a supposed IDF recording of Hamas discussing such plans. No one here gives automatic credence to Hamas claims but do you think IDF claims should be automatically accepted?

It was never a rescue mission for families in Gaza. Be honest. By the way didn't Iran threaten some sort of action if there was a ground invasion? Is that the reason Israel paused?

It's a safety precaution, not some plan.

...People with common sense tend to think in their minds what *could* happen in any given situation. For safety purposes.

Do you play on the interstate freeway..? Why not? What evidence do you have that you're going to get hit by a car? A claim without evidence is not evidence.

No, they paused because Hamas fighters are going to run out of food soon, and begin to starve. Israel will strike when Hamas is at it's weakest.

Except Israel bombed the airport and controls the sea, restricts the exits, and has them surrounded by barbed wire! They also attacked fleeing convoys and fire hundreds of missiles into the strip a day. Does your request seem reasonable to you?
