About time.
This is most certainly a secular religion. A bad one, too. It is what I can call a "flat earth religion" because you have to deny reality to believe it.
Just as people who adhere to "flat earthism" must ignore the reality around them, so must the transgenderist ignore the sciences of biology, physiology, and genetics.
Christianity is a faith-based religion that believes in "that which is not seen," but transgenderism and flat earthism deny that which is.
It is just amazing how easily the culture was sucked into the idiocracy. They got to the point where they would fire people and punish them if they refused to bow down to their tenets. It has truly become a state religion when they start making laws that require you to adhere to its tenets. I have compared them to the sparrows of GOT.

I don't think you can conflate that with the Judge's beliefs though... while it's possible they may have some overlap, a ruling, in and of itself, that's in favor of a religious appeal isn't necessarily "the judge's religious views".

For instance, take this case.

To my knowledge, none of the SCOTUS judges in 2015 were Muslim, but they ruled in favor of Muslim inmates being allowed to keep their beards for religious reasons.

The judge isn't wrong.

The teacher, Yojary Mundaray, told a student during a 2019 classroom exchange that she would not use their desired pronouns due to her Christian beliefs that “God makes no mistakes.”

Which the teacher is entitled to believe, just as the student is entitled to their beliefs....but only the student appears to want to impose those beliefs on anyone and the school shouldn't be helping.

I think "traditional" view is the wrong way to frame this.

It's the "factual" view....it's the view that aligns with factual evidence. The only thing that makes this "traditional" is that the facts and evidence have only recently been under attack by this new faith.
