1000 year old ALIEN mummified bodies found in Peru

Apair of "non-human" corpses believed to be at least 1,000 years old have been displayed to Mexico's Congress.

The mummified specimens were unveiled by ufologist and journalist Jaime Maussan, in front of an audience of lawmakers and scientists on Tuesday. Maussan told the congressional session in Mexico City: "They are beings, non-humans who are not part of our terrestrial evolution and that after disappearing we do not [think] there is a subsequent evolution."

He added that the specimens, which were found in mines in Cusco, Peru, had been carbon analyzed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. "These beings are around 1,000 years old, of antiquity."

My best guess, is that they were found in the mines looking for rare earth metals, in order to phone home.

Ah yes, Jaime Maussan. The guy who tried to pass off a mummified child as an "alien" a few years ago. I suspect this is more of the same. I especially enjoyed his explanation that "DNA evidence was extracted via radiocarbon dating" - demonstrating that he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. The DNA being characterized as "30% unknown" is also strange - if these are alien creatures, why would any of their DNA be recognizable? Let alone 70%? More probably, this is just contaminated human DNA from more Peruvian mummies.

That too - I was mainly referring to the idea that a technique used to determine the age of a material would be used to extract DNA.

These were debunked like 2 years ago. They are a hodge-podge of human and animal bones cobbled together. They are pretty obviously fake. Anyone who believes they could be real aliens is just daft.

Mexico and Latin America have a virtual cottage-industry in this type of thing. I've seen similar "alien bodies" on other shows about UFO's in Latin America.
