Blaming sick people for not being able to get healed, is not sound Christian doctrine. God is sovereign, and He has the sole decision concerning whether He heals or leaves the person sickThere are hindrances to prayer such as "Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.' I Pet 3:7
Some point out Holy Scriptures that may show the root of some conditions such as "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Pro 17:2 Books have been written on this area.
Pro 4 includes "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."
God is our healer.
