In the Middle ages, a whole people group called the Khazars, converted en-mass to Judaism. They constitute the Ashkenazi Jews and the Sephardic Jews were Edomites.

Anybody can believe they are whatever they want to be. It does not make them genuine.

The 'naos and hieron' argument is nonsense, just a red herring. Both refer to a real Temple.
