CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It was the impeachment, and yes Trump is subject to prosecution. Re: Special counsel.

When there are allegations and evidence of wrong, till then, not so much. Don't want to get prosecuted? It would be helpful not to do wrong. Trump has never learned that lesson.

Wrong doing leads to investigations. Investigations lead to prosecutions. Trump has never learned that lesson. As I have said before, if situations arise where Trump sees it as a benefit to him, but it means chosing to do the right thing, the wrong thing, or nothing, he way too often chooses the wrong thing.

I doubt you have the money for lawyers to paper the trial like Trump will do. It's really a rich man's privileged to do what he is about to do.

“Second, the paperwork violation in question came well after Trump’s 2016 election, so it couldn’t have been done to help his election.
Third, it is not obvious that the reason for the payment and the reimbursement to Cohen was to influence the election, thus failing the “objective standard” of law. “It has to be something that anybody on the street can look at and say the only reason you did that was to influence the campaign,” said Trainor. “There's a lot of reasons that he could have done it that aren't related to him being a candidate for president, and so therefore, it wouldn't have met the standard as campaign expenditure under federal law,” he added.”
Not to mention the FEC has jurisdiction over Federal election violations NOT BRAGG!
The attempt to use an election violation is how Bragg is trying to make a felony out of a misdemeanor. This case will blow up in his face this not justice at work it is a POLITiCAL PERSECUTION!
