Decision Making

The slow steps of agony
in a winding circle

I don’t want to die,
I just want to know

That someone will be there
when I call for help

that someone else loves me
and I’m not alone

degenerate
audacious
my life spins by

I spin off
agonized
I hide
it’s all too much
someone rescue me from this

so I never have to do it again

Glad to hear! This was written in response to your poem yesterday. So I guess you could say it was written for you. I posted elsewhere but meant to post it here and some how didn’t.

In despair, shallow it may be. Looking for the hope that can only be in Thee. The Light shining, glimmering through. The dark fighting, but losing us too. Light’s loving grasp leading to the end. Holding us upright, standing through the wind. Establishing our footsteps where they should be. Lighting the Way that is only found in thee. Amen
