How about you make whatever point you are trying to make?
Do you agree with this statement?

"Science has opened a wonderful window into how God creates."

If so, why are you an atheist?

Ah.

You are once again reduced to wordplay.

Nothing to see here, moving along...

So your answer is "Scientism." Good luck with that.
I've been having good luck with it so far.

Science has produced a lot of things that work, and I have avoided believing things which have no supporting evidence.
So, your belief is based upon faith, while @Kylie's perception of the most probable explanation for aspects of reality is evidence.
Science has opened a wonderful window into how God creates. It's a blessing to have that insight. I don't understand the need to belittle it.
Boys and girls, it is time to learn what a word means:

Scientism: Unlike the use of the scientific method as only one mode of reaching knowledge, scientism claims that science alone can render truth about the world and reality. Scientism's single-minded adherence to only the empirical, or testable, makes it a strictly scientifc worldview, in much the same way that a Protestant fundamentalism that rejects science can be seen as a strictly religious worldview. Scientism sees it necessary to do away with most, if not all, metaphysical, philosophical, and religious claims, as the truths they proclaim cannot be apprehended by the scientific method. In essence, scientism sees science as the absolute and only justifiable access to the truth. (PBS)

Do you see a problem with limiting what we can claim to objectively KNOW to what can be tested and verified?

I am not going to beat a dead horse by again explaining why Scientism is philosophically inadequate. In reality Scientism is universally recognized by philosophers of science to be inadequate and even self-defeating. If you are interested, I'm sure the internet is full of sources explaining why.

So, basically, science is bad because it can't deal with philosophy and subjective ideas.

Really? That's it?

That's like saying a screwdriver is bad because it can't hammer a nail.

The irony of such a statement will not be lost on those who understand the issue.
And what about the irony of the person who has refused to help me understand their point bemoaning my lack of understanding?

I'm not a scientist so I could do no such tests on the apple.
Anyone can do scientific tests.

You ever been transferring a file on your computer and it looks like the progress bar has stopped? So you put your cursor at the end of the progress bar and then checkl it again to see if the bar has advanced any more? That's a scientific test.

IDK what tests I would do. Would I eat it? Not everyone knows how to disprove whether something is created Ex Nihilo. I don't.
