In Ukraine, literally simultaneously with the Russian strikes on the energy system of Ukraine with missiles, another misfortune occurred. Some representatives of the so-called Orthodox Church of Ukraine (primate Metropolitan Epiphany), together with some patriotic public organizations, bombarded law enforcement agencies with denunciations against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Primate Metropolitan Onufry). Searches were carried out in many churches and monasteries of the UOC (were looking for weapons, agents of enemy intelligence and other evidence of helping enemies). Almost 100% of the denunciations turned out to be false. But law enforcement agencies were forced to check them, since the accusations of collaborating with enemies during the war are very serious. But it have been given great anxiety and nervousness for the clergymen of the UOC . More than half of the soldiers who are now fighting with Russia are baptized in the UOC. Including many children of priests and parishioners of the UOC are fighting for the independence of Ukraine. And, perhaps, they are very offended when their fathers and mothers are unnerved in the rear on false denunciations. Perhaps this lowers the morale of the soldiers. Why this is done is not clear. The President and the Ukrainian state are trying to protect the UOC from an avalanche of false denunciations, but are under strong pressure from such public organizations and the media. It seems to me that this situation is very harmful to the defense capability of Ukraine. A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. This hurts no less than the lack of sufficient air defense to protect the Ukrainian energy system from massive Russian missile strikes.
The Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which the Russians periodically fire at, is the largest in Europe. If it explodes, then the Chernobyl accident will be child's toy (compared with this ). Europe and Turkey could be hit hard. Therefore, it is impossible to say that this war does not concern NATO countries.
