Is YEC science? Is is even really a theory?

Is him cleaning up predicted by YEC or is it post hoc rationalisation of YEC?
YEC stands for Young Earth Creation -- not Young Earth Flood.

What does the Flood, which occurred in 2348 BC, have to do with the Creation Week, which occurred in 4004 BC?

I think that I have told you at least seven (and perhaps ten) times that the favoured hypothesis for the last 40 years is that the Moon was formed from the material ejected by a collision between the Earth and a Mars-sized planet. The pre-Apollo hypotheses (that the Moon was formed by rotational fission, that it was captured from a heliocentric orbit, and that the Earth and the Moon were formed together in the same pre-planetary dust cloud) have long since been rejected.
So there have been no new moon theories in the last 40 years?

Just call me Genghis Khan.

Both are integral in the Christian Creation Myth if the Bible is inerrant. It is interesting that nowhere in the Bible does it state that God hid the evidence of his actions.

But this is getting away from your original question to me which I have answered.

Right -- you can't even tell me how we got our moon.

There are what? some seven to ten different theories now?

And if all of science's expectations had come to pass, we wouldn't be here discussing this.
And as usual, you ignore the millions of things we DO know.

You should come to Australia, AV. I hear cherry pickers can get more than $21 an hour here. You'd make a fortune.

Are you familiar with the Mark Twain quote regarding indiscriminate use of the buccal cavity?
The modern social media version is conveying one's thoughts through the indiscriminate use of the phalanges.

Shall we add "Australian legal tender" the the increasingly long list of things you don't understand?
Don't forget Westminster Abbey and his title: "The Father of Evolution".

Your ability to change the subject so drastically never ceases to amaze me.
Cause-and-Effect evidence for a person(s) who actually exist[ed] bothers you, doesn't it?

No, just getting irritated by the lengths you'd go to in order to avoid answering the point I raised back in post 55.

No, He didn't "chose to make it in the exact way we'd expect it to be if he hadn't done anything and instead natural forces were responsible for everything."

He even documented and preserved what He did, when He did it, where He did it, how He did it, what order He did it in, how long it took Him to do it, why it took Him that long, and who the eyewitnesses were.

Then why does what we see in reality match exactly with what we know of the natural forces?

And that works - on paper.

You know exactly what I'm going to say, don't you?

And you wonder why I ignore some of your questions now?

You "see it in reality" because academia's reality is EXTREMELY compartmentalized;

And within that small box, they play connect-the-dots, force-fit data, and use trial-and-error to get their desired results.

In my opinion.

You make the claim often, yet you always resort to the same tired ploys to back it up, despite the fact that those are by far the minority. But whatever it takes for you to hold you preconceived conclusions.

In short, your opinion can take a hike.
