No, Long overdue for snow here in Ny, We had Plenty last year and that's how i remember it growing up. I'm disappointed that it all seems to be hitting the buffalo area towards watertown which is northwest of me as i'm near the New York / Pa State line.Too soon!!!!
I'm guessing @J Mick that you were too young to remember the 1977 blizzard. Even in southern Ontario we were pounded and I recall getting sent home from school early and arriving home with a nice layer of snow and ice frozen against my face. I don’t mind snow but to much of it for too long really starts to get to me.I am in northern NY. Church was canceled for tomorrow because of the snow storm we were supposed to be voting on a new Elder and now that's postponed. I don't mind snow either I'm used to it snowing in late October/Early November. I lived in Ontario for the first seven years of my life and have been in Northern NY ever since.
That storm is wild, they had to move the Bills game to Detroit...football is almost never affected by weather. But they're expecting about 8ft or so to fall by Sunday. That's insane.I feel badly that you all are getting so much snow. Looks like you all accumulating it really quick!
@spicoli you aren’t near it are you?

Nah luckily for us it's on the opposite end of the state. I'm actually in CA visiting family until December 6, but everything looks fine on Long Island where my wife and kids are. Partly cloudy and 42, not terrible.
Meanwhile it's a balmy 60 where I am in California. If my wife and kids weren't in NY I'd never go back.42? Ughh its 21 degrees outside right now. I'm jealous.
it can come to the NY/PA statelinethey're expecting about 8ft

I like snow but not 8 ft. of it. Plus, I have a really hard time getting one of my dogs to go out in it. And I used to love the cold but not so much anymore, which is problematic since it has to be cold to snow. That storm is wild, they had to move the Bills game to Detroit...football is almost never affected by weather. I remember walking across a snow bank as a young child and it collapsing and 'eating' me back then i thought i was going to die, Lol.Our dog when he was alive would absolutely refuse to go outside if the snow was deep enough. He would go to the shovel look at my wife and she would have to dig him a path so he could go to the bathroom without trucking through the snow. Lol.
