Anyone live in NY experiencing the show storm?

I figure the lake effect is why they didn't move the Cleveland @ Buffalo game this Sunday to Cleveland but Detroit instead where they can play in a dome. Cleveland gets it bad too.

I remember walking across a snow bank as a young child and it collapsing and 'eating' me back then i thought i was going to die, Lol.

At first I read this thinking.. he ate the snow to get out. I had a long day... lol

Wow! That must’ve taken forever to melt. We don’t get that deep of snow in Missouri.

I went into the AF in 1972. After training, I went home to Massena in May. There was still snow melting from where they plowed it into huge piles. Lots of fun when you are a kid.

During the colder winters, we get no Lake Effect Snow. The lakes freeze over and there is no moisture to feed the clouds. It is those warmer (20s-30s) winters where the lakes are not frozen.... then we get the snow!

Break your back or hire someone. I can’t imagine someone coming to my woods and doing that with the expense.

Reminds me of my grandfather when I saw a picture of him in a tunnel he dug out to the sidewalk [he was a mail carrier] the snow was up to the second floor.
