The continuous question has been about whether or not we can and must love perfectly in this life, which would equate to perfect sinlessness. And, if someone holds another to that standard, they'll most likely be judged by the same. As it is the church, historically, has taught that, while we must overcome sin and practice righteousness and not be engaged in the kinds of sin that leads to death, that keeps us from heaven, many of which are listed in Sculpture, absolute perfection is probably not possible in this life.

Perfection is the goal of the Sermon on the Mount, (Matthew 5--Matthew 7)... some of which is only achieved by making peace with the brother you've offended, and forgiveness of the same. I am not surprised that most people gloss over this fact... because it seems too easy of a way to be perfect. But there it is, in black and white. And in fact, many people never apologize for what they do to others... because it takes courage and humility, neither of which they have.

But naming the Holy Spirit "Beelzebub" will never be forgiven: the Pharisees...

Matthew 12:24-31 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
[27] And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
[28] But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God is come unto you.
[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men.

...call the Galilean Disciples the same thing:

Matthew 10:25 It is enough for the Disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the Master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of His household?

1 Peter 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
John 4:45 Then when He was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received Him, having seen all the things that He did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

Israel is and always was a stiffnecked people.

Deuteronomy 9:6 Understand therefore, that the Lord thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

Israel and the Jews judged themselves unworthy of everlasting life, then the message turned to the Gentiles.

For the Jew is not those who are of the circumcision, now it is those of the uncircumcision, who keep the righteousness of the law ( the faith of Christ fulfilled)

Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Romans 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Not all those of Israel are Israel. Now the Gentiles are through being the children of promise.

Now all are children of God ( the tribes of Israel) through faith in Jesus Christ, no Jew nor Greek, all are ONE IN CHRIST.

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Galatians 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

This is strictly now to the Gentiles who are NOW ISRAEL

Yes, but there was a problem with the term "goal" to begin with. It was insisted upon that a true child of God is already made perfect

Matthew 10:1-7 [5] ...Go not into the way of the Gentiles...[6] But go rather to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. 1 Peter 1:1...to the elect strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia... James 1:1...to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. John 4:45 ...the Galilaeans received Him, having seen all the things that He did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Acts of the Apostles 13:1-46 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers: as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. ...[45] But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.[46] Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Matthew 10:1-7 ...His Twelve Disciples... These Twelve Ιησους sent forth
...saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles...
But go rather to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.

Romans 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

That prophecy of Romans 2:24 has already been fulfilled. This is said to the House of Israael, which was carried away by the Assyrians... The Jews were carred away by Babylon. You may think it doesn't matter... but it definitely does to those who are careful not to covet what isn't theirs.

Isaiah 52:3-7 For thus saith the Lord, Ye have been sold for nought; and ye shall not be ransomed with silver.[4] Thus saith the Lord, My people went down before to Egypt to sojourn there; and were carried away forcibly to the Assyrians.[5] And now why are ye here? Thus saith the Lord, Because my people was taken for nothing, wonder ye and howl. Thus saith the Lord, On account of you my name is continually blasphemed among the gentiles.[6] Therefore shall My people know My name in that day, for I am He that speaks: I am present,[7] as a season of beauty upon the mountains, as the feet of one preaching glad tidings of peace, as one preaching good news: for I will publish thy salvation, saying, O Sion, thy God shall reign.LXX

Matthew 10:1-7 And when He had called unto Him His Twelve Disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.[2] Now the names of the Twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother, James [the son] of Zebedee and John his brother,[3] Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the publican, James [the son] of Alphaeus and Lebbaeus whose surname was Thaddaeus,[4] Simon the Canaanite and Judas Iscariot who also betrayed Him.[5] These Twelve Ιησους sent forth and Commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:[6] But go rather to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

good news, Sion: thy God shall reign
House of Israel: The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand

No, that wasn't by you. But followers of Paul, BTW, are still all over the board on this stuff as well. I like Paul, and Jesus, of course, and James, and john, and Peter. and see no conflict between any of them.

Romans 11 is a good description of Israel ( God is manifesting all the mysteries of Christ through Apostle Paul who you are not following)

We are taught how seven thousand men had not bowed their knee to the image of baal, and they were reserved by God.

Looking at 1 Kings 20, we see this described. Israel were about to be wiped out, by a great army, but God was defending Israel ( for His name sake)

The total number of Israel ( left alive, as God had reduced everybody else for bowing the knee to baal) was seven thousand.

Romans 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

1 Kings 20:13 And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
14 And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Even by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou.
15 Then he numbered the young men of the princes of the provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty two: and after them he numbered all the people, even all the children of Israel, being seven thousand.

Apostle Paul further explains this mystery of Christ ( which Israel does not follow AFTER THE TEACHING OF APOSTLE PAUL.)

Israel were the rest, who were blinded ( EXCLUDED)

Given a spirit of slumber, for them to FALL, for SALVATION TO COME TO THE GENTILES, and Israel left in jealousy.

Acts 13:45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Romans 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

( Romans 11, from Apostle Paul who you and Israel DO NOT FOLLOW) continues in the MYSTERY OF CHRIST.

God did not spare Israel.

Severity on Israel WHO FELL.

Goodness towards the Gentiles.

Israel also IF THEY STOP ABIDING IN UNBELIEF, CAN BE GRAFTED IN WITH THE GENTILES WHO ARE OW THE CHURCH OF GOD.

Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Now they are no more Gentiles, they were in times past not a people, but now are THE CHOSEN OF GOD, the Gentiles OBTAINED MERCY, and Israel obtained UNBELIEF ( blindness and the spirit of slumber)

Romans 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, YET HAVE NOW OBTAINED MERCY THROUGH THEIR UNBELIEF:

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: WHICH HAD NOT OBTAINED MERCY, BUT NOW HAVE OBTAINED MERCY.

1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

For Israel, all the blood from the beginning to Christ are come upon Israel since the time they were the betrayers and murderers of Christ. ( Israel killed all the prophets sent to them from God)

2 Chronicles 24:20 And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the Lord, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the Lord, he hath also forsaken you.
21 And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 24:18 And they left the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
19 Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto the Lord; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear.

2 Chronicles 36:15 And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Jeremiah 7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.
27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is A NATION that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: TRUTH IS PERISHED, AND IS CUT OFF FROM THEIR MOUTH.

Mark 12:5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.
6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.
7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.'

Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, THOU THAT KILLEST THE PROPHETS, AND STONEST THEM WHICH ARE SENT UNTO THEE, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The goal of ligurnian and fhansen is curiously the same however, in both state the goal is perfection, but that it wont be achieved.

Fhansen says it wont be achieved in this life ( Gods love perfected in us) because the catholic church says no way, and ligurnian says no, ( to the perfection taught in the Epistles) because of not following Apostle Paul.

Different excuses, same disbelief.

Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, [of] the tribe of Benjamin.

The tribe of Benjamin belongs to the House of Judah, not to the House of Israel... just in case anyone thinks "Israelite" means the House of Israel, here. Ιησους says "an Israelite indeed" Re: lack of guile in Nathanael, John 1:47.

So... here is Solomon's divided kingdom:

12 tribes, 12 pieces
Blue is the 10 northern tribes, called the House of Israel.
Green is the 2 southern tribes, called the House of Judah.

I Kings 11:30-32 And Achia laid hold of his new garment that was upon him, and tore it into twelve pieces:[31] and he said to Jeroboam, Take to thyself ten pieces, for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give thee ten tribes.[32] Yet he shall have two tribes, for my servant David’s sake, and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.LXX

I Kings 12:13-16 Roboam forsook the counsel of the old men which they counselled him.[14] And he spoke to them according to the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.[15] And the king hearkened not to the people, because the change was from the Lord, that He might establish His word which He spoke by Achia the Selonite concerning Jeroboam the son of Nabat.[16] And all Israel saw that the king did not hearken to them: and the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we any inheritance in the son of Jessae. Depart, O Israel, to thy tents: now feed thine own house, David. So Israel departed to his tents.LXX

I Kings 12:21 And Roboam went into Jerusalem, and he assembled the congregation of Juda, and the tribe of Benjamin, a hundred and twenty thousand young men, warriors to fight against the house of Israel, to recover the kingdom to Roboam the son of Solomon.LXX

This division is from the Lord, and it still exists here:

Hosea 1:6-7 And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And he said to him, Call her name, Unpitied: for I will no more have mercy on the House of Israel, but will surely set myself in array against them.[7] But I will have mercy on the House of Juda, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them with bow, nor with sword, nor by war, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.

This was said just before the House of Israel was carried off by the Assyrians.
The House of Judah was kept from being carried off at that time... up until the captivity of Babylon.

Revelation 11:13 And the same hour was there a great Earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the Earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of Heaven.

That snare verse is about the Messiah: John 19:28-30... these are the people who killed Him: Matthew 21:33-45... here's their table: Isaiah 65:11... and the desolate house: Matthew 23:37-39... and here's the persecution: Matthew 23:34. So... this is the House of Judah.

Psalms 69:21 They gave Me also gall for My food and made Me drink vinegar for My thirst.[22] Let their table before them be for a snare and for a recompense, and for a stumbling-block.[23] Let their eyes be darkened that they should not see; and bow down their back continually.[24] Pour out Thy wrath upon them, and let the fury of Thine anger take hold on them.[25] Let their habitation be made desolate; and let there be no inhabitant in their tents:[26] Because they persecuted Him whom Thou hast smitten, and they have added to the grief of My wounds.LXX

This elect/chosen is from the Passover Sermon (John 13-John 17)--His Galileans:

John 15:18-19 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you.[19] If ye were of the world, the world would love his own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
eklegomai = to select:--make choice, choose (out), chosen.
eklektos = from eklegomai; select; by implication, favorite:--chosen, elect.
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
(Matthew 24:1 ...to His Disciples for the remnant not killed in the Earthquake)

( Romans 11, from Apostle Paul who you and Israel DO NOT FOLLOW) continues in the MYSTERY OF CHRIST.

Israel also IF THEY STOP ABIDING IN UNBELIEF, CAN BE GRAFTED IN WITH THE GENTILES WHO ARE OW THE CHURCH OF GOD.

The natural-born olive doesn't need to be grafted in, because it's his tree to begin with. Many from the House of Israel believed what Messiah taught His Circumcision, ... +/- 6.5 years before Paul came from Arabia.

John 17:6-8 I have manifested Thy name unto the men which Thou gavest Me out of the world: Thine they were and Thou gavest them Me, and they have kept Thy word.[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou hast given Me are of Thee.[8] For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest Me, and they have received them and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send Me.

Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Romans 11:18

Jerusalem belongs to the House of Judah/Benjamin (not the House of Israel) ...it's the Pharisees and chief priests in Jerusalem, who do all the killing, here:

Matthew 23:29-39 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,[30] And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.[31] Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.[32] Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.[33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?[34] Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
... Acts of the Apostles 26:10-11, right?

Kinda get why you skip Solomon's divided kingdom and the ID of the perps.

Not by me, it wasn't, because I don't follow Paul.

Glad you didn't spell either of the names right, or I might really have to care.
BTW, several people wrote epistles in the NT... are you a newbie?

I made a new thread just now, showing how Israel was picked for a specific purpose. You can go and have a look as can anyone, it shows the purpose of the Gentiles too.

* Genetic Abraham, thy seed Isaac, thy seed Jacob.

Genesis 17:1-21 And Abram was ninety-nine years old, and the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am thy God: be well-pleasing before Me and be blameless,[2] and I will establish My Covenant between Me and thee, and I will multiply thee exceedingly.[3] And Abram fell upon his face, and God spoke to him, saying,[4] And I, behold! My Covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of a multitude of nations.[5] And thy name shall no more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraam, for I have made thee a father of many nations.[6] And I will increase thee very exceedingly, and I will make nations of thee and kings shall come out of thee.[7] And I will establish My Covenant between thee and thy seed after thee to their generations for an Everlasting Covenant, to be thy God and the God of thy seed after thee. ...[21] I will establish My Covenant with Isaac...LXX (thy seed = Isaac, not Ishmael)

Genesis 28:1-4 And Isaac having called for Jacob, blessed him and charged him, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of the Chananites.[2] Rise and depart quickly into Mesopotamia, to the house of Bathuel the father of thy mother, and take to thyself thence a wife of the daughters of Laban thy mother’s brother.[3] And may my God bless thee, and increase thee and multiply thee, and thou shalt become gatherings of nations.[4] And may He give thee the blessing of my father Abraam, even to thee and to thy seed after thee, to inherit the land of thy sojourning, which God gave to Abraam.LXX (thy seed = Jacob, not Esau)

Genesis 28:10-14 And Jacob went forth from the well of the oath, and departed into Charrhan,[11] and came to a certain place and slept there for the sun had gone down; and he took one of the stones of the place and put it at his head and lay down to sleep in that place[12] and dreamed, and behold a ladder fixed on the earth whose top reached to heaven, and the angels of God ascended and descended on it.[13] And the Lord stood upon it, and said, I am the God of thy father Abraam and the God of Isaac: fear not, the land on which thou liest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed.[14] And thy seed shall be as the sand of the earth: and it shall spread abroad to the sea and the south and the north and to the east, and in thee and in thy seed shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.LXX (thy seed = Jacob, not gentiles)

This is the scattered tribes of Jacob, found in all of "the inhabited world" in those days... and found again with the prophets who called them from those compass-points... as well as from the west, in the last days:

Isaiah 43:1-7 And now thus saith the Lord God that made thee O Jacob, and formed thee O Israel, Fear not, for I have redeemed thee: I have called thee by thy name, thou art Mine. ...[5] Fear not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and will gather thee from the west.[6] I will say to the north, Bring; and to the south, Keep not back: bring My sons from the land afar off, and My daughters from the ends of the earth,[7] even all who are called by My name. For I have prepared him for My glory and I have formed him and have made him:[8] and I have brought forth the blind people, for their eyes are alike blind and they that have ears are deaf.*LXX

These are the seed of Jacob = the genetic sons/daughters of Jacob, coming home after the war.

[13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.[14] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand, and seeing ye shall see and shall not perceive:[15] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed: lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart and should be converted and I should heal them.

The flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, Israel in the wilderness, and Israel as a kingdom, they are all the testimony of the prosperity of the wicked. (2 Peter 2:5-6. Jude 1:5-7.)

Israel ( being blinded) filled with pride ( as per the example they were given for) murdered Christ as they murdered all the servants of God the prophets sent to them.

( not Israel) but left in the middle of Israel, are an afflicted and poor people ( Those who rejoice in the pride of Israel are separated to remain in Israel)

Now the ones who trust in the name of the Lord, are the remnant of Israel, they shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies, nor have a deceitful tongue, none make them afraid.

The covenant God gives is not by the covenant Israel had, they are now included in the new covenant to the Gentiles.

Romans 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Romans 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Ezekiel 16:59 For thus saith the Lord God; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord:
63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord God.

Christ destroys the unbelief that Israel had, but until this day they are yet in the very same pride they always had. ( denying Christ by being blinded by the Torah)

Isaiah 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Zephaniah 3:11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

Zephaniah 3:12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

The Gentiles trusted, Israel did not, the conclusion is that Gods word came true regarding who is Gods people and who ceased to be, because of who trusted in Him.

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.

Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

And Isaiah 6:9-13 is explained in Matthew 13:10-17, where those who had been blind are the House of Israel... ...and those who are still blind is the House of Judah. John 9:39-41, they which see might be made blind. Matthew 15:12-14, Pharisees are their blind guides.

Romans 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Romans 10:21 is quoting Isaiah 65:2... the context is Judah, period. The House of Israel never had this sin-offering thing. Only Judah/Jerusalem had that.

Isaiah 65:2-9 I have stretched forth My hands all day to a disobedient and gainsaying people, to them that walked in a way that was not good, but after their sins... [8]Thus saith the Lord, As a grape-stone shall be found in the cluster and they shall say, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for the sake of Him that serves Me, for His sake I will not destroy them all.[9] And I will lead forth the seed that came of Jacob and of Juda... [12] I will deliver you up to the sword, ye shall all fall by slaughter. For I called you and ye hearkened not, I spoke and ye refused to hear, and ye did evil in My sight and chose the things wherein I delighted not.
Isaiah 66:3-4 But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to Me is as he that kills a dog, and he that offers fine flour as one that offers swine’s blood, he that gives frankincense for a memorial is as a blasphemer. Yet they have chosen their own ways, and their soul has delighted in their abominations.[4] I also will choose their mockeries, and will recompense their sins upon them. Because I called them and they did not hearken to Me, I spoke and they heard not, and they did evil before Me and chose the things wherein I delighted not.LXX

Matthew 12:18-21 is expecting us to go find this context, in the last days:

Isaiah 42:1-7 Jacob is My servant, I will help him; Israel is My chosen, My soul has accepted him. I have put My Spirit upon him, he shall bring forth judgment to the nations.[2] He shall not cry nor lift up his voice, nor shall his voice be heard without.[3] A bruised reed shall he not break and smoking flax shall he not quench, but he shall bring forth judgment to truth.[4] He shall shine out and shall not be discouraged until he have set judgment on the earth, and in his name shall the nations trust.[5] Thus saith the Lord God, who made the heaven and established it, who settled the earth and the things in it, and gives breath to the people on it and spirit to them that tread on it.[6] I the Lord God have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand and will strengthen thee. And I have given thee for the covenant of a race, for a light of the nations.[7] To open the eyes of the blind, to bring the bound and them that sit in darkness out of bonds and the prison-house.LXX

If you set aside the name Jacob, you've got nothing but smoke and mirrors.

And so does Matthew 21:33-46.
Believe Ιησους or don't... that's up to you.

.

All Israel rose up against the Lord. All Israel was punished for it ( all 12 tribes)

The punishment was, ( not only to provoke Israel to jealousy by being blinded in faith) but also to take the Kingdom away from them and give it to another, bringing forth the fruits ( the Gentiles) and Israel can be grafted back in if they do not abide still in unbelief, Israel all 12 tribes, were the natural branches, but now all 12 tribes are outcasted/cut off, and need to be grafted back in ( to the people of God/Gentiles, who are now sons of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob/Israel, the faith of Christ.)

Psalms 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Acts 4:27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so ALL ISRAEL shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall TURN AWAY UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

As not all of Israel are Israel, but those of the Spirit are

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

And they of the Spirit are all one, all children of Abraham (All are Jacob) by faith in Jesus Christ, where there is neither Jew nor Gentile.

Galatians 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Please ligurian, no more smoke and mirrors.

All of this is simple to Gentile Christians, they know we are now the Sons and daughters of God by the faith of Jesus Christ.

A new thread I made just now, for Gods words put in our mouth, otherwise we speak our own words unlike Christ.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 12:48-50, Matthew 10:5-7, John 10:1-5.

The words of Paul not for a person mean only one thing.

They do not believe the testimonies of God where Moses was told by God a Prophet will be risen, and God puts His words in His mouth, and this is the covenant with them, His Spirit that is upon Him, and His words which I have put in His mouth, shall not depart out of His mouth, nor out of the mouth of His seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

The ( the people of Israel) are to hear all things He ( Christ) speaks to them, or be destroyed from among the people. ( Israel rejected) But Israel are the children of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with the fathers ( with Abraham) that in the seed of Abraham, all the kindreds of the earth shall be blessed.

He that rejects the Son and does not receive His words, the Word He has spoken shall judge him in the last day. For the Son did not speak of Himself, but the Father which sent Him, gave commandment what He should say and what He should speak, which is His commandment of life everlasting, so what the Son speaks therefore, is what the Father said unto Him.

He that receives whomsoever He sends receives Him; and he that receives the Son receives the Father, that sent me.

He that receives us receives the Son, and he that receives the Son, receives the Father that sent Him.

To receive a prophet, in the name of that Prophet, they receive that Prophet,s reward, and to receive a righteous man, in the name of THAT RIGHTEOUS MAN, receives that RIGHTEOUS MAN'S reward. ( as they receive the Son and the Father.)

Deuteronomy 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Isaiah 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Matthew 10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

The same words in the mouth of the Son ( sent by the Father) are in His seed, and they who receive who the Son sends receive Him ( the Son and the Father) and they who do not receive who He sends, reject the Son and the Father.

Now Apostle Paul was sent ( to the Gentiles and to kings and to the children of Israel Acts 9:15) to show us the way of salvation.

Making known unto us ( through the Father placing His words in his mouth) the mystery of Gods will, to gather together in one all, and no separations of Jew nor Greek. Galatians 3:28.)

The commandment ( as they who are a prophet or spiritual must acknowledge what Apostle Paul speaks to all are the commandments of God) is for no divisions, as Christ was crucified for all, but we all believe in the same thing and all speak the same thing ( for all the seed have the same words of the Son in them by the same one Spirit we are all the same baptized unto.)

Peter spoke of hearing Paul, and how the longsuffering of the Lord is salvation, which our beloved brother Paul poke to us, not to be wrested ( treated in strife and ignored) as all the other scriptures to a mans destruction.

Acts 16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

1 Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Genesis 17:1-14 And Abram was ninety-nine years old, and the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am thy God: be well-pleasing before Me and be blameless,[2] and I will establish My Covenant between Me and thee, and I will multiply thee exceedingly.[3] And Abram fell upon his face, and God spoke to him, saying,[4] And I, behold! My Covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of a multitude of nations.[5] And thy name shall no more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraam, for I have made thee a father of many nations.[6] And I will increase thee very exceedingly, and I will make nations of thee and kings shall come out of thee.[7] And I will establish My Covenant between thee and thy seed after thee to their generations for an Everlasting Covenant, to be thy God and the God of thy seed after thee.[8] And I will give to thee and to thy seed after thee the land wherein thou sojournest, even all the land of Chanaan for an everlasting possession, and I will be to them a God.[9] And God said to Abraam, Thou also shalt fully keep My Covenant, thou and thy seed after thee for their generations.
[10] And this is the Covenant which thou shalt fully keep between Me and you, and between thy seed after thee for their generations: every male of you shall be circumcised.[11] And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be for a sign of a Covenant between Me and you.[12] And the child of eight days old shall be circumcised by you, every male throughout your generations, and the servant born in the house, and he that is bought with money of every son of a stranger who is not of thy seed.[13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with money shall be surely circumcised, and My Covenant shall be on your flesh for an Everlasting Covenant.[14] And the uncircumcised male, who shall not be circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin on the eighth day, that soul shall be utterly destroyed from its family, for he has broken My Covenant.LXX

Genesis 28:1-4 Genesis 28:10-14 And thy seed shall be as the sand of the earth: and it shall spread abroad to the sea and the south and the north and to the east, and in thee and in thy seed shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.LXX

Seed is always singular, when it means a race or tribe.
