The language of these articles is very biased against the Jan 6th committee, so I don't feel their judgement is neutral. The documents look like a report from a source that was not in the main group of Proud Boys, but that is not proof of the Proud Boys not orginizing.

Counter to that is this report. The Proud Boys had a small group that orginized and worked as a group to get the crowd into the Capital Building.

These articles just look like people trying to find anything to deny what the Jan 6th committee is finding.

No, but they are more neutral than WMD and don't use such biased language.

Calling the Jan 6th committee members criminals is not neutral language.

ETA: it is also hard to square the WMD article with video of Proud Boys taking down barriers and attacking police and encuraging others to do so.

Neither is assuming guilt before all the evidence is heard neutral language. I wonder why the New York Times could not access this info said to exonerate the Proud Boys?
