Brother, it is clearly the human laws of the Judaism that achieved this hostilit
According to scripture is the laws or ordinances that ended (ceremonial laws). Colossians 2:14 which include animal sacrifices, circumcision etc.Yes, animal sacrifices ended because the law of Moses ended.
Since you must be better informed than myself, why not explain where I have erred. What makes you believe my response is not scriptural?Your words not God’s and certainly not scriptural
Many commands of the old covenant did not end with the coming of the new covenant. Jesus never left any of us lawless like some like to proclaim. Read Jn15:9-14 and 1Jn3:19-24.According to scripture is the laws or ordinances that ended (ceremonial laws). Colossians 2:14 which include animal sacrifices, circumcision etc.
Not all of the law of Moses ended for example, like the greatest commandments- love God with all our heart Deuteronomy 6:4 Love your neighbor Leviticus 19:18
Brother, Judaism treats its own human law as if it came from God, as if they were commandments, when this system of human law did not come from God. That is why they accused Jesus of breaking the law when Jesus did not break any of God's laws. The descriptions mentioned in context do not describe the law of God when it says about this system of law that it is "enmity" and a "wall of separation". Jesus tells us next what fits these two descriptions. The human laws added to Judaism! Humans are "blind" guides to add laws to Judaism, making their converts "into twice the child of hell you yourselves are". God can add to His own laws because He is not a blind guide like humans are. Judaism does not enter the kingdom of heaven, nor will they allow others to enter, do to their own system of law. They do this through their human laws that enslave people instead of freeing them from sin because they are "blind" guides. The law of commandments was abolished. No mention of Judaism.

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either. “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are! “Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! For you say that it means nothing to swear ‘by God’s Temple,’ but that it is binding to swear ‘by the gold in the Temple.’ Blind fools! Which is more important—the gold or the Temple that makes the gold sacred? And you say that to swear ‘by the altar’ is not binding, but to swear ‘by the gifts on the altar’ is binding. How blind! For which is more important—the gift on the altar or the altar that makes the gift sacred? When you swear ‘by the altar,’ you are swearing by it and by everything on it. And when you swear ‘by the Temple,’ you are swearing by it and by God, who lives in it. And when you swear ‘by heaven,’ you are swearing by the throne of God and by God, who sits on the throne. (Matthew 23:13-22 NLT)

No scripture.Since you must be better informed than myself, why not explain where I have erred. What makes you believe my response is not scriptural?
Brother, this translation quoted below has done the work for you by qualifying the word law when Paul does not qualify it because it refers to the entire law of Judaism. I see from the following passage that when Paul uses the word law by itself versus when referring to a subset of the law, "the law of God" in the same passage, he is referring to the entire law of Judaism when the word law stands alone, unqualified.Judaism is not mentioned in this writing of Paul, you have added to the word of God.
Interesting, but no scripture to support this. The Sabbath is part of the Ten Commandment and the Sabbath is the chosen holy day for God and for mankind Exodus 20:8-11, Genesis 2:1-3, Isaiah 58:13, Exodus 31:16 Mark 2:27 which is why the seventh day Sabbath will continue to be the Lords day of worship for eternity Isaiah 66:23 and not the day that was changed by man. Jesus in His own words told us we should obey the commandments of God quoting directly from the Ten over man's traditions Matthew 15:3-9, Mark 7:6-8 and those who keep traditions over the commandments of God worship in vain (not my words). There is no Sunay-keeping commandment of God, but there is for Sabbath keeping written by the finger of God Exodus 31:18, kept in the Most Holy of God's Temple (and in heaven Revelation 11:19) and the day God said to "remember" the day Jesus kept His whole life as our example Luke 4:16. There is no scripture stating the role of the Sabbath changed. For me, I am sticking with the scriptures. God blessHere is another way of looking at this seeming complex arrangement.
The law of Moses was temporary, whereas the law of the Lord is eternal.
The Sabbath has always been the seventh day. What changed when the law of Moses was added, is how the Sabbath was to be observed.
Now that the law of Moses has been taken out of the way, the Sabbath has returned to simply being a day of rest. No longer do we put to death those who pick up sticks to kindle a fire to cook on the Sabbath.
Furthermore, the seventh day of the week points us to the seventh “prophetic” day of the week, which is the final one thousand years from Adam; the thousand years when we reign with Christ on earth after He returns to remove all His enemies. When we live with Him here on earth with our resurrected bodies that contain no sin, and radiate like the sun with His glory.
We are approaching that time since mankind has been here going on 6000 years since Adam.

Well, here's how it looks to me:Brother, love your neighbor as yourself means do not covet as well as the other 6 last commandments of the 10 commandments and more, as you say later.
Correct, you can love more than the 10 commandments, but no less than the ten commandments before Jesus. Following Jesus, you can certainly love more.
God be with you! United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge
Brother, the rule is that you cannot use the word you're defining within the definition.Jorge, I cannot find anything about love in all of the ten commandments yet the love commandments are the greatest commandments given in all of scripture.
What was a stand-in for the death of Jesus to forgive sins are the animal sacrifices and not the ten commandments that show our victory over sin. Jesus as our High Priest gives us as many opportunities as we need to grow, in obedience to the commandments. How a child learns to walk by getting up again and again until he doesn't fall down anymore.May I also remind you that Paul wrote in 2Cor3:6-11 that the ten commandments were temporary and have been done away. I see from the following passage that when Paul uses the word law by itself versus when referring to a subset of the law, "the law of God" in the same passage, he is referring to the entire law of Judaism when the word law stands alone, unqualified.
Compare Paul's use of the word law in any other translation besides this one and you will learn how Paul uses the word law. Pay attention to when Paul qualifies the word law and when he does not. When Paul does not qualify the word law, he is referring to the entire law of Judaism, because when he speaks later in the same passage of "the law of God", he qualifies that law as a subset of the entire law, all the law of Judaism.
- "the law", unqualified, means the entire law of Judaism in the following passage, because
- "the law of God", Paul qualifies, as a subset of the entire law of Judaism
When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ. (1 Corinthians 9:21 NLT)

And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Mark 2:27
No mention of the Lord’s day of worship.
The Sabbath was made in the beginning, therefore by context, Jesus is indicating that the Sabbath was made for man to rest.
God commanded us to rest from our work and keep the seventh day Sabbath holy. Exodus 20:8-11 We see Jesus as our example and the apostles going to the Temples on the Sabbath day reading the Word of God. Luke 4:16 Acts 18:4, Acts 13:44The Sabbath was made in the beginning, therefore by context, Jesus is indicating that the Sabbath was made for man to rest.
Brother, happy Sabbath! I am grateful that this translation returned to the original and translated Hebrews 3 and 4 better than the King James Bible. The King James Bible misidentified Joshua as Jesus before David. You can't even trust the word for word translation of the King James Bible as unbiased. We have not entered God's rest in Hebrews 3 and 4 because the "good news" heard in the desert for 40 years by Joshua is not the gospel of Jesus, as the King James Bible' translators biased their translation of Hebrews 3 and 4. In the following passage, "another day" refers to a different day than the one thought for the Sabbath since Joshua: not the seventh day of the week everywhere, but the seventh day of the creation week remembered in the time zone of creation.Using a perverted translation doesn’t help your cause.

Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. (Hebrews 4:8 NLT)
God gave instructions to remember the Sabbath in Jerusalem at an earlier time, from evening to evening than the seventh day of the week from morning to morning, defined in Genesis and confirmed below.
long after the Sabbath (evening), as it dawns beyond Saturday (morning), came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, to see the tomb. (Mathew 28:1, my own translation)
